My curiosity for traveling and getting to know new cultures in the world was always evident.

My life in tourism has already taken me to travel and get to know different realities, from the Scottish Highlands to check out the madness of the Spanish Islands.

But it was my country that I fell in love with, its history, traditions, gastronomy, the relaxed way we always find solutions to problems.

I think the main feature on my tours is the enthusiasm.

I am a professional guide based in the city of Lisbon, but I know Portugal and islands well and for this reason, if you need a guide and want to get to know Portugal in a more exciting, curious and historical way, i can make the difference on my experience and knowledge of 11 years in this market of tour guiding.

We had a fabulous time with Luis. He took us on a wonderful tour. Luis is a good storyteller and gave us a great overview of the area and provided historical context so that we could appreciate the towns, palaces, neighborhoods, monuments and other sights. My wife and I spent a full day with Luis visiting Fatima, Nazare, and Obidos. Luis has a warm and engaging personality, and he made us feel welcome from the start. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Portugal, including its history and culture, and he is articulate and eloquent in sharing his knowledge. His English is excellent, and he also speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish. He was sensitive to our needs and he customized the tour to our preferences. He gave us 9 1/2 hours, over and above the promised 8. In addition he gave us valuable advice to help us plan the remainder of or vacation. Luis was an exceptional guide for our full-day tour of Nazaré, Fátima, and Óbidos. His knowledge of each location combined with his personal experiences enriched our tour immensely. Luis is very knowledgeable about his country, very personable and easy to talk to. He picked us up at our hotel promptly at 9AM and away we went. We had a great time visiting Fatima, Óbidos, and Nazaré. Luis customized the tour to include a stop at Batalha because of our interest in historical sites. Lunch was very pleasant in Nazaré at a lovely seafood restaurant next to the beach. We had a great time, didn't feel at all rushed, discussed many, many topics, as one does when spending 9 hours together. I would definitely recommend Luis to any of our fellow travelers. Amazing day with Luis!

Our group of 6 took two tours in Lisbon. The first was the three hour tour of the city itself and this one was led by Ines. She was pleasant, very informative about the history and had good recommendations for the rest of our trip. Even though Lisbon is very hilly, she was able to show us tricks the locals use to reduce the climbing. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour and would recommend choosing her as your guide. The second tour was with Luis. We were supposed to go on a tour of Sintra, but due to the high temperatures and the increase of fires the national parks were closed. LIS turned a disappointment into a very fun surprise by taking us on a tour which included bridges, a Moorish castle, a food market with cheese tasting, a winery, a tile making shop, a park with great views and a stop at the Christ the King monument. Oh, and a lunch in a fishing village. What a very informative and fun day we had. I would highly recommend Luis for any tour needs you may have!Best tours in Lisbon!
