If you’re like us; using a food tour to get to the heart and soul and history of a city, we strongly suggest that you ask for Peter as your guide. We had a wonderful and very fascinating tour of the city center. The stories went from a Portuguese company recreating Roman garum in the original ancient vessels (and having a taste of it!) to entering hidden gems that we would never have discovered yourself. Peter was a delightful guide through the areas that were previously Jewish areas. He was extremely knowledgeable and brought pictures to help illustrate what he was explaining. We were 4 senior adults walking more slowly and he was patient too. We really enjoyed ourselves. Excellent Lisbon Jewish Heritage tour.

The tour was very good. However, we were disappointed that recommendations promised by Peter for other city sites/activities, etc. were never received.

My husband and I enjoyed a very informative walking tour with Peter. He conveyed his knowledge of the history of Lisbon very well, and carried a file of illustrations which helped us to see how various areas appeared in the past. A stop to try a local pastry and coffee was included, and Peter made sure that we were safe and comfortable throughout the tour. We also visited a local ceramic workshop where we witnessed the techniques used to paint designs onto the products. Some lovely pieces were available to view/purchase. We both highly recommend this tour, and Peter as your guide. We would not hesitate to join one of his tours in future.Informative and Enjoyable Walking Tour

Peter is a great guide! (Great tour in French) He made us discover the history and evolution of Lisbon through the streets, monuments and its documented supports. He captivated us during the entire visit, both on the historical, artistic, architectural part, etc...
