Hello dear traveler!

I'm Petra, I was born and raised in the city of the Leaning tower and some years ago I became a licensed tour guide in order to help people discover my beautiful home town and unravel its secrets.

My passion for art history has led me to get a degree in this subject, but feel free to ask me anything about the best photo spots, the traditions, the food and everyday life in Italy.

Some people think that in Pisa there's "just a Tower", and my mission is to prove them wrong! I'm very proud of my city and its millennial history, so I can't wait to show you that there's so much more to discover, and to lead you to some beautiful places away from the mass tourism circuits.

We had a wonderful walking tour of Pisa with Petra. Her extensive knowledge of the city's history and architecture was truly impressive. Petra was great! She contacted us days before to inform us that the tower climb was fully booked but planned an exciting tour of the ground as a workaround and turned out better than the original plan. Having this private tour was fully worth every penny. Petra was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out some facts I could see other guides were missing. She has a real passion for art and being able to articulate what the artist was trying to show in their work while pointing out all of the hidden messages, is second to none. My 17 year old son days later was still stating facts he found most interesting. I cannot recommend Petra enough. Petra is great! Exceeded our expectations
