Hi, my name is Phuong, but you can call me Elise. Raised in Vietnam, I spent my college years studying hospitality in Holland, before working in the USA in the hotel industry. I believe that traveling is quintessential in developing a more well-rounded global citizen, and that it is the antidote to ignorance.

But first and foremost, I'm a wanderer, a storyteller, a food lover who has a passionate interest in showing you how to enjoy a day in my beautiful city to the fullest. Just tell me what you would like to do, I will make sure to make it happen.

When I am not maximizing one's travel experience, I go explore the world around me, teach English, knit or happily spend time in the kitchen cooking.

We went off-script and didn't do the usual route. Walked, took Grab cabs, followed back streets, found the flower market and some hidden gems. A great day. Elise was great

Elise took us around Ho Chi Minh City tasting amazing local foods including Michelin star dishes with specialty corn and sticky rice. We had the most scrumptious and fresh green papaya salad, and crunchy Banh Mi with pate and fresh vegetables! Elise is knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure to avoid trigger foods that my friend has due to serious food allergies. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together, walking around the city and appreciating Sargon after dark! Great tasting experience with Elise!

Elise speaks a very good English. She showed us some really good food places and we sampled delicious Vietnamese food we would otherwise not have known. Apart from that she also told us interesting stories about the food and sights. Perfect

Elise was wonderful and took us all over. We hopped into grab taxis and went all over ( and the taxis were nice and cool). She also knew some really good secret food places that were yummy! Definitely recommend her!Wonderful guide

Elise was fabulous! We did the food tour and she took us to so many great spots. We got to taste some amazing bites we did not know or would have found. She was welcoming and a great guide explaining each dish along with some history about the areas. We highly recommend her and this tour, a true foodie and host of an amazing city. Elise did a wonderful job meeting up with us, explaining where we would go and what we would be eating. The places were great and so was the food. She was able to describe how the food gets made and how food in HCMC differs from other parts of the country. My husband and I had an awesome time on our food tour with Elise! Every dish was amazing and it was wayyy more food than we expected. (Or needed lol but at least there is some walking to burn it off). I highly recommend Elise as a guide!Sooooo much great food with Elise!
