I was born from a traditional Italian family, my father from Rome and my Mother from south italy, my grandparents had a farm, with animals, organic food, and every year i was participating to the harvest of grapes and olives, to make delicious wine and olive oil.
So i know what it means quality related to food, and i like to give the people suggestion to taste the traditional italian food, few but good quality ingredients.
So even if i come from a traditional italian family i'm open to discover other cultures, i lived abroad and i speak 3 languages, i am a outgoing guy, and i like to have a conversation with new people, specially during a nice walk or sitting in a café.

We had a fabulous day with Pierpaolo.
We saw amazing views . We enjoyed wonderful food and wine including strawberries and truffles in Nemi and great wine in Nemi and Frascati.
Pierpaolo told us of the history of the area and was extremely knowledgeable.
I would recommend this tour if visiting Rome.Wonderful trip in the countryside

Our group of three had an enjoyable afternoon with Pierpaolo who was very warm and engaging and shared so much of the history of the area. It exceeded our expectations and we all came away knowing so much more.

We had a wonderful day trip away from Rome with Pier. We are a multi generational family of five. Pier did a great job talking to and entertaining all of us and it turned out to be everyone's favorite tour of our trip in Italy. Beautiful scenery, fresh air, and good food. Despite a difficult day, with rain, fog and overall chilly, Pierpaolo made us feel welcome to his area. His over all knowledge on the history of the area and the views were spectacular when the fog lifted.
I would recommend if visiting Rome it is an ideal 1/2 day trip outside the city to the Frascati area and Pierpaolo would enhance your visit. For 2 people the pricing was reasonable.Rain

Saw some beautifull places, tried local food and drinks and the tour operator Pier is a great guy! He knows a lot about the surroundings and history.great tour and great guy!

Pier is a fantastic guide who will show you around the small towns around Frascati. Just 30 minutes outside of Rome. Huge knowledge of the area and absolutely an entertaining guide.
Unfortunately like with all the Withlocals guides the organization is taking 40 percent of the fees. Almost double than other platforms. So the guides are having less tours since it is getting more expensive for tourists. Not sure why the organization is so greedy.
Anyway. If you want to visit a quiet place outside of Rome. Please try to find Pier and organize a booking with him. Excellent experience outside of Rome

After taking a very simple train ride to Frascati my husband, daughter and I had a thoroughly relaxing, enjoyable day with Pier showing us around his town and sharing with us stories about these delightful towns. He's very charming and uses excellent English. Not your usual structured tour but truly a day with a local. My husband I were very pleased. Fun day with Pierpaolo.

Meeting Pier, visiting the countryside and spending the afternoon in Frescati was absolutely wonderful. What a beautiful place. I’m so glad we chose to do this. Pier is such a joy to be with - funny, passionate and welcoming. Now that we know what we know, we will come back to this place and hope to see him again. A fantastic day!

I had a wonderful time with Pier! He has a vast knowledge and true passion for his home. I learned so much from him and saw views of Italy I didn’t even know existed. He then recommended a spot for lunch with amazing views of Rome and great food. Thank you for an amazing day that I will never forget ❤️Beautiful experience!

Leaving Rome for the day was much more than we expected! It was an amazing experience because not only the place is beautiful and close by (fast train ride) but our host Pierpaolo made it absolutely fun and interesting.
He's full of stories and facts that made the whole experience incredible.
We are a couple of travelers that are not that easy to please and I have to say that this one experience deserves a full 5 star review.
If you come to Rome, do not miss the opportunity to do it.
