My mom and I met with Pili for a tour of a couple of Gaudi’s houses and the Sagrada Familia- and it was so amazing!!! We originally booked the tour for 1.5 hours (from 9:30-11am), but ended up staying with her for 4 hours (until 1:30pm), because Pili was giving us so much in-depth information and time was flying!! She talked a lot about light and color and the analysis behind Gaudi’s choices - which was really interesting and much different from most of the basic tours. If you are passionate about architecture or love getting more of the inside scoop, then this is the best tour for sure! We, as a party of four, had a deeply satisfying visit to the Sagrada Familia with our guide, Pili. She met us at the Casa Mila and immediately helped us see “light” as an energy, as she explained Gaudi’s training and vision as an architect. When we sat in a cafe with her and then circled the Sagrada and saw the solid glass forms she personally created for one of the towering spires, we were captivated. Inside, she revealed hidden details and spaces and showed us how the colors from the windows radiated their afternoon power. She was warm, humble, accommodating and, as a sculptor herself, passionate about the role of the Sagrada in the life of the city. It was like getting a personal tour of the building from a close friend of the man himself. Thank you so much, Pili. See Gaudi through the eyes of an artist

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had with Pili on the Light, Color and Architecture tour. We chose to pay for extra time for her to come into the places with us and I highly recommend it. Pili doesn’t just give anecdotes or facts about Casa Milá, La Sagrada Familia or Guadi. Any facts or stories she gives is conected to the heart and soul of Guadi, and the expanse and depth of his vision for his projects and how he implemented it. I felt like we got a glimpse inside of Guadí. The fact that she created sculptures for the sacristy tower to implement Gaudi’s vision gives her a unique understanding and perspective. Each piece of the tour was fascinating and by the time we went in La Sagrada Familia, we could experience it with a depth that surprised me. I knew it would be interesting and beautiful. Through what Pili gave us, we could experience it more fully and let it touch the depth of our souls. I had tears more than once. La Sagrada Familia is so much more than what you see in pictures (although that is beautiful too!). Thank you, Gaudí. Thank you Pili. I will also look at light, dark, and shape with new eyes, awareness and appreciation. It was truly the highlight of our magnificent trip. I highly recommend Pili as your guide! More amazing than I could have imagined!

Pilla has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the architecture of the Modernista period and the Sagrada Familia. She weaves the story interesting and thorough. I found the La Pradrera's history unique.Excellent knowledge

The focus of this all-day tour of Barcelona was Gaudi, and we saw quite a bit of it. All of it awesome, but it was especially meaningful because it was provided by Pili, a long-time resident of Barcelona and its environs who not only specializes on the wonders of Gaudi's architectural productions but has also contributed to some of the glass creations in a tower at the Familia Sagrada. Although expensive (the 10-hour tour wound up costing us more than 1,000 Euros, including entry tickets and lunch), we were able to tailor the tour to our needs, inasmuch as my wife is mobility limited, and we enjoyed it very much. We had an outstanding day looking at the Sagrada from a very different perspective (architecture affecting light and color)--nuances that we did not appreciate on previous visits. The walk through Batllo was equally informative. She also worked tirelessly finding a gluten-free lunch spot.A GREAT DAY
