The focus of this all-day tour of Barcelona was Gaudi, and we saw quite a bit of it. All of it awesome, but it was especially meaningful because it was provided by Pili, a long-time resident of Barcelona and its environs who not only specializes on the wonders of Gaudi's architectural productions but has also contributed to some of the glass creations in a tower at the Familia Sagrada. Although expensive (the 10-hour tour wound up costing us more than 1,000 Euros, including entry tickets and lunch), we were able to tailor the tour to our needs, inasmuch as my wife is mobility limited, and we enjoyed it very much. We had an outstanding day looking at the Sagrada from a very different perspective (architecture affecting light and color)--nuances that we did not appreciate on previous visits. The walk through Batllo was equally informative. She also worked tirelessly finding a gluten-free lunch spot.A GREAT DAY

Our tour with Pilar at the Sagrada Familia was absolutely breathtaking! Her deep knowledge and passion for Gaudí's masterpiece truly brought the experience to life. She guided us to the perfect moments and angles to fully appreciate the interplay of light through the stained glass windows, which was nothing short of magical.
Pilar's insights helped us understand the symbolism behind the colors and how the light transforms the space throughout the day, making the visit feel both personal and spiritual. She was patient with our questions and made sure even the youngest members of our group felt included and captivated by the experience.

Pili is not only experienced, but she also possesses a wealth of information and knows every corner of Barcelona. She took the time to explain the rich history of the city as we leisurely strolled around, covering practically every part of it. Having lived there, Pili shared her personal experiences, making the tours of various churches and historical sites absolutely epic.
Her passion and deep understanding of Barcelona brought the city's stories to life in a truly engaging manner. Every step of the tour was infused with her unique perspective and insightful commentary. We visited Barcelona in September and from the moment we met Pilar we were put at ease and knew we were in good hands. We chose to extend our tour to Park Guell followed by lunch and tour outside Sagrada Familia and inside. Being an artist myself, it was a pleasure to share insights, and get a thorough understanding of Gaudis motivations, intentions and genius.
The following day we visited The Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, (highly recommend!) followed by lunch on the Costa brava beachfront topped off with a visit to Pilars glass studio where we were able to get a thorough understanding of her work and techniques. The crowning glory are the pieces that she designed and installed expertly at the Sagrada Familia.
All in all we were treated to two fantastic days we will never forget. Thank you, Pilar!

My family and I had the pleasure of touring Sagrada Familia with Pili last month, and it was a TRULY unforgettable experience. Delighted to discover her tour focusing on Light, Color and Architecture … I was even more excited to learn that she herself is an award-winning artist and has designed and built glass sculptures for the roof of this iconic structure!
As a scholar of all-things-Gaudi, she shared fascinating insights about the history, architecture, and symbolism, making the intricate details really come alive. Her deep passion and extensive knowledge were evident throughout the tour.
Pili was very accommodating to the specific needs of our group, which ranged in age from 17 to 82, and helped us personalize our experience so everyone felt comfortable and engaged. We also appreciated her photography skills – she knew exactly where to capture the best shots with the best LIGHT!
