It was a joy discovering the tastes and wines of Lisbon with Sylvain. The tour was perfectly catered to our tastes and interests (we were interested in wine in particular) and Sylvain is incredibly knowledgeable about everything Lisbon. We thoroughly enjoyed our Lisbon tour with Sylvain. He had a great knowledge of the history of Lisbon and took us a nice mix of different places to dry local cuisine and drinks. He also took the time to recommend other places to visit on our stay, which we did and enjoyed every one of them. I recommend doing one of these private tours to really get to understand the local areas and find hidden gems you might otherwise miss when visiting the city for the first time. Thanks again Sylvain. Sylvain provided an exceptional tour focusing on the history of Portugal and the history of the neighborhoods and traditional food. Our private tour allowed personal interactions with the vendors and was something tourists would not normally see. He also provided a number of additional sites we could visit that were very worthwhile. We have friends visiting soon and will recommend they take a food tour with Sylvain.The best tour of Lisbon ever

We've been twice now to Lisbon and there is much to see. The first time, we had a great time with a group food tour - a few hidden gems and a few standards. This time, we splurged a bit more and had an absolute fantastic personal tour with our guide who customized the experience to give us exactly what we wanted. We wanted a focus on wine and Syvain was perfect in his knowledge ... adding historical tidbits here and there and taking us to some fantastic, perhaps once-in-a-lifetime tasting experiences.Great food and wine memories of Lisbon

We were lucky enough to choose Sylvain for a guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable with not only food and the foods of Lisbon but the history of Lisbon as well. He chose the highest quality of establishments to bring us to. He knew we were very interested in wines and he made that a priority. His love for wine and food really made this tour the best tour we have ever had and we have taken many around the world. I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Sylvain! Sylvan is incredibly knowledgeable about food and wine, having worked in the wine industry for several years in different countries. He took us one a great tour of some of his favorite places in multiple neighborhoods around the city. He very expertly adjusted our tastings to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We got to taste many typical Lisbon dishes, from cheese and pata negra pork, to sweets and pastel de nata (of course). We also sampled white and red wines, as well as port. We loved it to much that we bought port to bring home and cheese and pork to share with my brother in Paris next week. Definitely recommend Sylvain's tour!Amazing food tour

Sylvan was an amazing guide who took us to the best hidden gems of Porto, Portugal. He was very knowledgeable about the history & culture of the city and more importantly, the wines. We also found Sylvan to be a lovely person as we got to know him as we meandered the back streets of the city. Highly recommend booking with Sylvan if you’re heading to Porto. Sylvain was on time and punctual. The walking tour was very informative and we could not have done the things or visited the places we went without Sylvain's expertise and knowledge of the area. The wine and food tastings were great! We explored a section of Lisbon that we wouldn't have known about thanks to Sylvain. I would definitely recommend Sylvain to anyone wanting a unique Lisbon experience!Sylvain is the best!
