Our walking tour with Ricardo was one of the highlights of our trip. He is super knowledgeable about Lisbon, and did a great job pointing out parts of the city we probably never have found on our own. As we were walking around and talking, it was like we were chatting with a local friend teaching us about hidden gems. Our favorite quote of our trip was Ricardo encouraging us to “get deliciously lost in Alfama!”Knowledgeable and fun…

We had such a wonderful experience with Ricardo! He did an amazing job of weaving together, Portuguese, life and culture in the historical context while adapting our tour to exactly how we were feeling. Our tour of Lisbon with Ricardo was absolutely perfect! From start to finish he had us entertained and engaged by his extensive knowledge of all things (location, history, culture) Lisbon/Portugal. He enthusiastically shared the ins and outs of the city and also pointed out so many hidden gems. He really took the time to get to know us and quickly was able to tailor the tour to our interests. Even before the tour started he willingly answered my questions about the local area - where to eat, what to see, where to stay. His suggestions were always on point and exactly what we were hoping for. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we would highly recommend Ricardo when visiting Lisbon. His tour was the highlight of our trip! We have used With Locals numerous times in many different cities and we can absolutely say Ricardo is the best guide around. Ricardo’s Tour was the Trip’s Highlight!

Ricardo was an exceptional guide who provided our group with a fantastic tour. Despite the challenges of managing a large group and less-than-ideal weather conditions, we had an amazing time. Ricardo's flexibility was a huge plus, allowing us to discuss and adjust the schedule in advance. My group of six had a great tour to Obidos, Nazare, and Ericeira. Ricardo picked us up at our accommodations on time and spent the whole day looking out for us. I think it was a little outside of Ricardo's comfort zone, but he was great. We needed transportation with it tour, and the van Ricardo had set up had mechanical issues the night before it tour. He managed to rent a car for the day on a last minute basis. It was a little tight space wise, but it did the job. It worked out great in the end.

Had a great tour with Ricardo! He was on time at our meeting point. He walked us around great spots in Lisbon. He was very detailed in telling us about the sites. He gave us recommendations for things to do and places to eat and then followed up in the With Locals chat in writing (I never would have remembered them with this!).
