Riccardo proved to be a wonderful guide and host for our day in Murano and Burano. He helped with the water taxi service and guided us to the glass making factory on Murano and then to island of Burano. He was informative, engaging and helped us to learn a bit more about the history and culture of these two islands. We saw where lace was made in Burano and walked through the lovely houses and streets of the island including a birthday celebration for one of our group. We enjoyed our day with Riccardo and would highly recommend him to anyone. Awesome experience

We had the best experience with Riccardo in Venice. Even before our tour started, he gave us recommendations for dinner near our hotel at an excellent restaurant with a scenic view. He gave us a great recommendation for lunch before our tour started. The itself was fun, interesting, and informative. We had a much better understanding of the layout of the city, its origins, and some ups and downs by the end of the tour. He gave us even more recommendations for places to eat, shop, get money, and get gelato as well after the tour. We are so happy to have met Riccardo and had him as our guide!Great experience in Venice

Our tour with Riccardo was the highlight of our trip, and if you’re weighing whether or not to book a tour of Venice with him—book it! This guy is a modern Renaissance man who manages to be down-to-earth and engaging while still teaching you a lot about the history and quirks of the city he knows and loves. His English was perfect, and he was able to organically connect the points of interest we visited into an engaging and entertaining narrative. He’s also an accomplished photographer, and the picture he took of us at one of the sites may be the best picture we’ve ever had together! Our original booking was disrupted by the weather. Riccardo was quick to suggest alternatives removing our concerns. The day dawned bright and clear, perfect weather for a relaxed stroll, we are septuagenarians after all. Riccardo matched his pace and delivery of facts to our requirements without any pressure. He was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed the experience and benefitted from his knowledge and insight. Amusing anecdotes alongside historical facts were delivered regularly on our tour. Access to Riccardo's curated list of places to eat, visit and see was a huge benefit given the vast array of options here. Riccardo is an outstanding private Venetian tour guide who made our visit to Venice truly unforgettable. His tremendous knowledge of art and architecture brought the city's history to life, and he shared fascinating perspectives into lesser-known but impactful facts. He guided us through Venice's unbeaten paths, revealing hidden insights that we would never have discovered on our own. In just 2.5 hours, we covered an impressive amount of ground—even with our 6- and 8-year-old children in tow, thanks to his thoughtful pacing and engaging storytelling. Taking in the breathtaking skyline of the city of Venice, right above the Rialto bridge, was truly awesome! Beyond the tour, Riccardo provided a plethora of authentic local recommendations, from fantastic restaurants and gelato spots to trustworthy shopping spots. Riccardo met me at my hotel. He had planned an interesting route full of historical information. He went at my pace so wasn't rushed. Lots of useful information sent to me afterwards about eating places etc Thoroughly enjoyed the walk. So interesting.Really informative and enjoyable time.

Riccardo was an excellent guide. He used his diverse background in architecture, history, and photography to steer us away from the crowds to some great spots for a short story or perfect picture. It must be hard to strike the right balance of giving enough information but not too much so it becomes a drag - and Riccardo does this perfectly. His English is also at a very high standard having travelled extensively. Perfect mix of style and substance

Riccardo was extraordinary! We asked him to show us some less touristy spots and we absolutely enjoyed the tour, so much in fact that we booked him again for the next day.
