Rita guided our 3 generation family group through a truly amazing day. She has a very warm personality, connected immediately with our grandchildren (9 and 12) and kept them and all of us immersed in the history of the Peña Palace and the playfulness of the gardens of Quinta da Regaleira. Rita is an excellent guide. She has passion about Portugal and was so informative about the history and culture. The tour I booked was for Belem but it was so much more. I felt like I was on a tour with an old friend. We stopped by the original pastel de nata bakery- that was the best of all the pastries I had during my trip. A private tour is the way to go- you get so much insight of the aspects of Portuguese life that is of interest to you and your group. Informative historical and cultural tour

Rita was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was a great start to my weekend in Lisbon and set me up well for further exploration. Rita is a great storyteller able to connect foreigners with Portuguese history and contemporary culture in a relatable way. Rita was an excellent guide. She was friendly and fun, with a huge personal knowledge of Lisbon. She gave us a local’s viewpoint of the city, which is so much more valuable than the usual tourist guided tours. We got an understanding of the local culture and history and learnt so much about Lisbon in just 3 hours. Would totally recommend Rita.

Rita gave us a great tour of central/old Lisbon, touching on all the interesting and historic sites. Also explained some of the political history for context. She is a terrific guide and (born there) long time resident. She also offered good recommendations on other things to see and restaurants. You CANNOT go wrong with her! Historic city tour with Rita

Rita was an amazing and flexible tour guide for my 30-something daughter and myself. She totally adjusted our itinerary to meet our needs, even stopping at a pharmacy for some needed supplies. She is very knowledgeable about Sintra, Cascais, and Lisbon and is great at answering any and all questions. She loves her job and it shows. Her English is impeccable and we learned a lot about the area. Totally recommend booking a tour with her!Knowledgeable and Friendly!

Our guide to Fatima and Nazare was Rita. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable. I wish we could have had another tour with her. Her knowledge and insight into Fatima was appreciated. As Catholics we appreciated saying the rosary at the little church. She understood our reverence for the site, and gave us opportunity to pray. She also provided insight into the churches and the Portuguesse feast days. We had a good meal at a local restaurant and she guided us to the best selection. Finally she was aware of our interest in Nazare. The waves were not rolling, but she shared her experience seeing the big waves. I would recommend Rita and a guide. We felt like she was a dear friend.A wonderful experience with Rita
