I obtained bachelor degree in Cultural Heritage, master degree in Classical Archaeology and the diploma of Post-Graduate School in Archeological Heritage.

I’m an authorized guide of Campania Region since 2011 and also I worked like archaeologist in all around the Mediterranean sea: Populonia (Livorno, Italy), Paestum (Salerno, Italy), Olbia de Provance (Hyères, Var –France), Efestia (Lemnos, Greece), Phaistos, (Crete, Greece).

Since I was a child I loved history of ancient Greeks and Romans and also the Art history from the Middle Age to the Avanguardie of the ‘900.

I live in Salerno a characteristic sea town located between the paradise of Amalfi Coast and the charming Cilento.

I'm going to offer my knowledge in the art-historical and archaeological field for anyone who wants to understand and investigate the incredible richness of the Campania Region.

Together we will discover the secrets of ancient Greeks and Romans that already in the past they knew the incomparable beauty of this places.

I collaborate with Slow Food (an international movement that strives to preserve traditional and regional cuisine and encourages farming of plants, seeds and livestock characteristic of the local ecosystem) and so I organize specific tours to those who want to discover the authentic pleasures of wine and food.

We really appreciated getting to tour the amazing archeological site of Pompeii with such a knowledgable guide. We did really want to learn about the ancient civilization and history, so Roberto's knowledge as an archeologist was perfect. He was able to give us some larger perspective on the time of Pompeii. He was also really responsive while planning and helped us pick the correct high-speed train from Rome to Naples and the correct train transfer in Naples. We were able to easily come for the day and make it back to Rome in the evening. Overall a wonderful experience. Excellent tour of Pompeii with Roberto.

We (family of three) had a wonderful tour with Roberto at Pompeji. What a difference to visit the city with a professional that can bring the daily live in Roman times back by knowing all the smaller details! The tour was very individual! Just talk to him. We got good advice how to spent our time after the tour. And we could skip the long waiting line at the entrance and started relaxed with an espresso near the entrance… Roberto, thanks again!A great day with Roberto at Pompeji

Roberto brought us through Pompeii with ease and amazing information. Being an archeologist who had worked on the site his insight was incredible. We had 2 teenagers with us who unknowingly learned a lot. The site is so much bigger than expected so having a knowledgeable guide was a must. I highly recommend this tour! Roberto went above and beyond, even helping us secure a transfer when we learned that the regional train we were planning was usually late. His in depth knowledge of Pompeii brought the city to life for us. He is also very personable with a quick sense of humor. He also was very flexible and accommodating when you travel partner was having some struggles with the weather. Highly recommend, Roberto! Perfect guide for Pompeii

After many years, finally a visit to Pompeii with an archologist (not just a tour guide hired by a travel or cruise outfit), who could point out the less obvious aspects of fragments of an ancient culture/civilization or stone walls . . . Roberto brought to our collective experience an insight, breath of knowledge, and willingness to answer the mundane and “strange” questions posed by members of our foursome. He also acknowledged the experiences/knowledge of individuals within the group of four that he shepherded around Pompeii for three hours under clear hot blue skies, taking time to rest, find shady spots to explain aspects of the pre-roman, roman and post-eruption history of Pompeii. We got to see, experience the lesser visited portions of the archeological site as well as the main touristy portions – The Forum. The companions of this excursion were most enthusiastic and very satisfied with the overall outing, including Roberto’s arranging for a shuttle driver to pick us up and returning us to our cruise ship docking in Naples. The only regret that I had, that the tour “only” lasted three hours, I could have continued to explore Pompeii in the company of Roberto, till the sun set over Vesuvius and the Archeological Park threw us out . . . ah, maybe next time . . . We had a group of 10 to visit Pompeii. We decided a guided tour would be best. Roberto is a true professional. He answered all of my questions about booking and which tickets to aquire. He rearranged his schedule so he could accommodate the time slot we wanted and then the tour itself was phenomenal. He is a true expert and an excellent teacher. Spending time with Roberto in Pompeii was an absolute delight. Having a real archaeologist as our guide brought the ancient city to life in the most exciting way—he showed us all the must-see sights and shared fascinating insights throughout. On top of that, he worked with me to create a custom itinerary for the afternoon, which included a scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast, a quick stop in Sorrento, and a visit to beautiful Positano. Traveling as a group of nine, Roberto arranged a comfortable private minibus for us, making the entire experience seamless.
