I obtained bachelor degree in Cultural Heritage, master degree in Classical Archaeology and the diploma of Post-Graduate School in Archeological Heritage.

I’m an authorized guide of Campania Region since 2011 and also I worked like archaeologist in all around the Mediterranean sea: Populonia (Livorno, Italy), Paestum (Salerno, Italy), Olbia de Provance (Hyères, Var –France), Efestia (Lemnos, Greece), Phaistos, (Crete, Greece).

Since I was a child I loved history of ancient Greeks and Romans and also the Art history from the Middle Age to the Avanguardie of the ‘900.

I live in Salerno a characteristic sea town located between the paradise of Amalfi Coast and the charming Cilento.

I'm going to offer my knowledge in the art-historical and archaeological field for anyone who wants to understand and investigate the incredible richness of the Campania Region.

Together we will discover the secrets of ancient Greeks and Romans that already in the past they knew the incomparable beauty of this places.

I collaborate with Slow Food (an international movement that strives to preserve traditional and regional cuisine and encourages farming of plants, seeds and livestock characteristic of the local ecosystem) and so I organize specific tours to those who want to discover the authentic pleasures of wine and food.

Absolutely AMAZING experience with Roberto... he helped organize a driver to meet us at the train station so that we could go up to Vesuvius and hike the crater before then being driven back to Pompeii and meeting with Roberto for a tour. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and paced the tour extremely well. His passion for history was infectious and adults and teen boys all said it was one of the best tour guides we had on our trip. Don't look further, just book with Roberto. Roberto was the best!! We had a tour of Pompeii and Ercolano with Roberto on 12/3 and it was excellent! You can't even imagine how much more interesting and informative it is when you have a customized, private tour with an expert who loves history. Roberto was informative, interesting and really gave us an insider's view. There's no way we would have enjoyed learning about the history in a large group or on our own. Worth every cent. Roberto was a fantastic guide! My wife and I were with him for the Pompeii tour. Roberto is very easy going and his knowledge was extensive. We plan on coming back next year with our three college age boys and going through the tour again. I can’t imagine walking around with the large tour groups when guides like Roberto are available.Well worth it!

We had a wonderful tour of Pompeii with Roberto. Roberto is a trained archeologist and has actually worked on projects at Pompeii. With all his knowledge, Roberto didn't overwhelm us with too much information but gave us a perfect explanation of the history. Roberto is an amazing guide! He showed us so many little details in Pompeii and challenged us to figure out what some of the areas were. Because he is also an archeologist, we not only saw the life in Pompeii, we could feel it! Roberto was very kind to two elderly ladies, helping us over some of the rougher areas but never making us feel elderly. The pace of the tour was perfect. We highly recommend Roberto if you want a special experience in Pompeii. Roberto Rocks

Roberto was an amazing host and guide. Extremely knowledgeable and did a very nice job navigating us through Pompeii to see interesting details away from the crowds and large tour groups, while also ensuring we didn’t miss anything. Even my teenagers enjoyed it!! Roberto was fantastic and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smaller, more intimate way to experience Pompeii!Amazing experience in Pompeii!
