Hello everyone!

My name is Roberto and I am ready to be your host and go with you to discover the very true side of Venice.

I was born, raised up and living in Venice since 1957....

I have been knowing and loving Venice for more than half a century now. After being a concierge in the most famous hotels in Venice, I went for a change and took my licenses for both tour leader and environmental guide. I will certainly be able to show you how we live in Venice now and how we used to live in Venice some years ago...well, yes, I am old enough to do it!

I am a true Venetian and I have a sort of warranty certificate for this... I mean for being a true Venetian. Because the family was a well known noble family in Venice that also gave Venice a doge...and who was the doge? Ehiiiiiii I cannot tell you everything now! Book a tour with me and you’ll discover!

Roberto hat uns als waschechter Venezianer mit viel Wissen und Engagement abseits der Touristenpfade durch Dorsoduro geführt. Auch kulinarische Empfehlungen kamen hierbei nicht zu kurz. Eine sehr lohnenswerte Veranstaltung. Sehr lohnenswerte Führung

My wife and I, along with our two teenage children, recently did the San Marco tour with Roberto. Right away it was clear that Roberto was born and raised in Venice, with a passion for every corner of the city, and all the history and stories that contribute to making Venice what it is today! Roberto mixed history, intrigue and story telling seamlessly. He kept us captivated for 4 hours, and showed no signs of slowing down even when our time was over. Roberto’s tour was a great primer, reading us to dive even deeper into Venice’s rich history. Thanks Roberto!Passion for Venice!

Unfortunately, our family tour was canceled by Roberto because we ran ‘late’. Granted it was a family tour as scheduled and one of the children had a slight emergency which is why we ran late. Not enough that we stayed in touch with Roberto and let him know we were running late, not enough that there was about an hour and a half left in our planned tour, our host just cancelled without any recourse. Not only we didn’t get reimbursed but now going back and forth with the company trying to justify our request for reimbursement. It’s a bad incentive for the host to be able to get paid without delivering any service due to the client being late. Unacceptable!No integrity and no service

After two other guides had to cancel with us, we were assigned to be with Roberto. We are so happy that he ended up being our guide! He had so much to tell us about Venice and we loved his stories! We had such a great tour. Afterward, he dropped us off at a wonderful restaurant for lunch and arranged a tour of a Murano glass factory. Roberto really went out of his way to make our whole day in Venice amazing!We loved our time with Roberto!

Zu Viert hatten wir eine tolle Foodtour mit Roberto durch das Quartier, in welchem er aufgewachsen ist. Die einheimischen Getränke und Häppchen haben wir sehr genossen, ebenso wie seine Ausführungen auf deutsch. Jederzeit wieder👍.Super Foodtour mit Roberto
