I am not just a local but a proud native Venetian: I was born and grew up in St.Mark's district, in the heart of Venice! I am totally in love with my city, with the amazing history of the Most Serene Republic of Venice and its art. I achieved a Master Degree in Art History at Ca' Foscari University here in Venice where I had the chance of really getting in deep into Venetian art and history... this is why it just was so natural to me to become a Licensed Tourist Guide of Venice!

My second passion is food and gelato! I am a real foodie, I can promise you I'll take you to the best places in Venice to try our traditional cousine!

Romy is simply perfect if you want to explore Venice with a warm-hearted, truly open-minded and yet very proud local. We were a group of 9 people, of which 7 were international business guests. From several specific requests and wishes what to see and include in the tour upfront up to rather spontaneous timing changes just days before the tour, Romy made everything possible and guided us through "her" Venice for 6 amazing hours. I can highly recommend Romy - for sure for every tour in Venice she offers - and will definitely try to book her again whenever being back in Venice. Romy was an excellent guide for a group of two families with kids ranging from 11 - 17! There is no doubt her guidance was invaluable as we navigated the streets of Venice learning about its unique history and even current events. Romy’s tour was really great! It was a perfect introduction to our 2 days in Venice with our 2 young adult children. She explained the history of Venice and showed us all of the highlights. She even pointed out some of her favorite spots which we revisited on our own. I would highly recommend Romy as a tour guide!!!Romy is great!
