I am not just a local but a proud native Venetian: I was born and grew up in St.Mark's district, in the heart of Venice! I am totally in love with my city, with the amazing history of the Most Serene Republic of Venice and its art. I achieved a Master Degree in Art History at Ca' Foscari University here in Venice where I had the chance of really getting in deep into Venetian art and history... this is why it just was so natural to me to become a Licensed Tourist Guide of Venice!

My second passion is food and gelato! I am a real foodie, I can promise you I'll take you to the best places in Venice to try our traditional cousine!

Romy’s tour was really great! It was a perfect introduction to our 2 days in Venice with our 2 young adult children. She explained the history of Venice and showed us all of the highlights. She even pointed out some of her favorite spots which we revisited on our own. I would highly recommend Romy as a tour guide!!!Romy is great!

Romy was a wonderful guide. We learnt so many interesting things about Venice. She provided great context for the history of Venice at the start of the tour so we had a good understanding of things she was taking about during her tour. Romy took us on a magical tour through the main parts of Venice. She was incredibly engaging and well versed in the history, art, architecture and truly gave our family a deep sense of Venice, its people and culture. We started near Rialto, explored the markets and then walked us through St Marks square, the Doge’s palace and St Mark’s church itself. My wife and I had a great time with Romy. We walked through the most important streets of Venice as well as hidden gems. Romy is extremely knowledgeable about Venice and its history. We truly had a great time. Highly recommend you ask her for restaurant recommendations, she has great taste. We loved the three rest. she recommended. Great City Tour

We arrived in Venise with our two kids and directly embarked with Romy for the visit. Best thing we did! I highly recommend as she has a lot to share and embarked us and the kids throughout the streets. Our daughter loved the treasure hunt she had prepared. I can just warmly recommend Romy to anyone curious to understand what they see in this beautiful place with a local. Wonderful introduction to Venise
