I am not just a local but a proud native Venetian: I was born and grew up in St.Mark's district, in the heart of Venice! I am totally in love with my city, with the amazing history of the Most Serene Republic of Venice and its art. I achieved a Master Degree in Art History at Ca' Foscari University here in Venice where I had the chance of really getting in deep into Venetian art and history... this is why it just was so natural to me to become a Licensed Tourist Guide of Venice!

My second passion is food and gelato! I am a real foodie, I can promise you I'll take you to the best places in Venice to try our traditional cousine!

Romy was lovely but we did not feel this experience was worth the money. The flexibility in the itinerary was nice; however, as first timers to Venice, it’s hard to know what to see and how to structure an itinerary. Romy did not offer a structured plan for the tour, we just walked around and chatted briefly about each landmark. It was not the more in-depth history tour we were expected. We felt like we had to ask questions to get information, instead of having the tour guide present information. It felt a bit half hearted and we were disappointed with the tour. If you are looking for a casual tour or have been to Venice before, this might be more fun.

Fantastic guide tour around Venice including the hidden gems. Now we finally got the picture of the daily life of Venetians through history as well as everything that happened in the area historically. Can strongly recommend Romy! Romy sure knows her history!!

Romy was an amazing tour guide for Venice. She is a native and knows this fabulous city completely. She took us to wonderful places, including those that avoided busy tourism locations. Romy is simply perfect if you want to explore Venice with a warm-hearted, truly open-minded and yet very proud local. We were a group of 9 people, of which 7 were international business guests. From several specific requests and wishes what to see and include in the tour upfront up to rather spontaneous timing changes just days before the tour, Romy made everything possible and guided us through "her" Venice for 6 amazing hours. I can highly recommend Romy - for sure for every tour in Venice she offers - and will definitely try to book her again whenever being back in Venice.
