As an experienced Art Historian and guide, I would love to show you around London's galleries and museums. I am also an artist and run my own Art Consultancy so I live, breathe and love Art!

London is well known for the Queen, its world-class theatre and its extraordinary history - but did you know that it has some of the best museums in the world? I have lived in London for many years, Washington, Barcelona, Amsterdam and I am now back in London. I have lectured in most museums in Europe and worked at The National Gallery in London. I have experienced different cultures and speak several languages. I lecture in English, but I also guide in French and Italian.

Loved this tour with Rosa! It was the perfect activity on our first day in London. Rosa has so much information and knowledge to share and really made the British Museum come alive in a way that never would have happened without a personal tour. Highly recommend! So fun and informative!

First time "With Locals", and what an amazing tour of the National Gallery with Rosa. It would be easy to wind up drinking from a fire hose and be overwhelmed by the collection, but Rosa guided use through a series of pieces that, ultimately provided us with a degree of depth and context that, frankly, was not expected. We appreciated her deep familiarity with the collection and her convivial and approachable perspective. And her humor. In a heartbeat. Definitely worth our investment of time. Without a doubt.What an exceptional visit...

Rosa is the best tour guide I have ever had and I have been on many tours of Europe’s great museums: the Louvre, the Prado, Villa Borghese …. She is so knowledgeable and down to earth with her presentations that our uneducated questions were answered respectfully and clearly. She also added so much information on how to interpret art works in our future travel. Do not hesitate to book her for your art history tour. The Best Art Tour Guide Ever!

Rosa was the tour guide for our British Museum tour and it was an amazing experience! She engaged my teenage son and he was so interested in the museum for hours! As a family, we usually book a private tour guide when we travel as it helps to maximize the time. In our many private guide experiences, Rosa is top notch! I wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour with her!! She even followed up a few days later to send my son a reading list since they had such a long discussion on historical books.Amazing British Museum tour!

To say Rosa's tour of the British Museum was informative is an understatement. It felt like a tour with your favorite professor! Rosa is not only extremely knowledgeable, but personable, funny down to earth. We had a mix of world history and art history blended together with lively conversation. The Museum is enormous, we ended or day feeling like we had seen and learned more than we ever could have had we tried to see the museum on our own. I highly recommend Rosa as a tour guide! My husband and I hired Maria to guide us through the National At Gallery during the Van Gogh exhibit and also the next day at the British Museum. She brought the history and the stories of the paintings and artists alive with her great depth and breadth of knowledge. We told her what we were interested in and she curated a tour just for our interests. She was a wonderful story teller with her knowledge of the various cultures, especially in the British Museum. We so enjoyed Maria and her charming personality, that we will definitely reserve her guidance when we return to London for another great holiday of museums and galleries. Spectacular Art Historian!
