Hello, thank you for taking time to read my profile. My name is Roy and I am a licensed Tourist Guide. Born into a second-generation local Chinese family, I enjoy telling the story of Singapore from a light-hearted perspective so that my guests would understand. I like to start my day with a Kopi-O Kosong (Black Coffee with no Sugar) at a local hawker centre. Our hawker centres are the heart and soul of Singapore. It is a melting-pot where people from all walks of life gather and enjoy a variety of local cuisine. We toured with Roy, and he was simply outstanding. We connected prior to arriving in Singapore and discussed how we wanted to spend our day in Singapore. Roy did an outstanding job of arranging the schedule so we could see everything on my wish list as well as other locations he suggested. Roy went to our hotel in advance and figured out a place to meet (and provided a photo to show EXACTLY where to meet). Roy has an outstanding amount of knowledge about Singapore, and comes prepared with binders of photos to show what Singapore was like in the past, so you could compare it with how it appears today. Roy carefully watched out for us the entire day to ensure we stayed together and avoided any missteps on the sometimes uneven ground. Roy carefully monitored our time schedule to ensure we were on track with the agenda, and we altered the schedule a bit on the fly to ensure our priorities were being met. If Roy isn't THE best guide we've ever had, he is certainly one of the very best guides we've ever encountered around the globe. Bravo. This is a must do experience and all made better by our guide Roy. He was brilliant, we managed to see and do so much in the time we had with him. He explained everything about the history of Singapore which is very interesting. He took numerous photos for us and nothing was to much trouble for him. I’ve done walking tours in over 50 countries and this was one of the best walking tours I’ve done! We had a lot of food stops and got to try so many different snacks, which is unusual for a walking tour so we felt very lucky. We also made a lot of stops that I wouldn’t have known about without the tour. Our guide Roy was incredible at his job !!! Thanks for everything!!Best Walking Tour

All that Roy had done was great in this tour. Very mindful with every age group and the tour had been a great experience for us. We picked a lot of tips. If you are visiting Singapore for the first time you should book this. Also great for first timers.Great experience
