Hello! I'm Rushdi, a 5th generation South African born and raised on the foothills of Table Mountain to parents who's forefathers were slaves brought to the Cape from the East during the slave trade.

My forefathers built this city I call home and I look forward to sharing my experiences of this picturesque little corner of the world.

Today, I am a proud husband and father, the last generation to have experienced apartheid and the first to have witnessed South Africa's remarkable turnaround.

Passionate about my culture with a keen sense of adventure. I look forward to sharing my Cape Town the way only a local knows how. We contacted Rushdi with short notice and with a very little time to visit the highlights of the city. He was able to arrange a program fulfilling our request. He told us about the story of SA, Capetown and its people and it has been thrilling to hear this directly from a local. We didn’t give 10 just for the little time we had at our disposal to spent in Cape Town. Thank you Rushdi!!! excellent guide for custom experience

I met Rushdi for a solo tour of Cape Town. I have travelled all over the world but was slightly anxious about walking around the city on my own. Rushdi immediately put me at ease and I felt very safe throughout the whole tour. His knowledge was excellent and I learnt all about the history of the city as well as seeing some diverse sights and have a much greater understanding of the history of Cape Town. And excellent guide who was able to tailor the tour to my needs. Highly recommended.An amazing and knowledgeable tour

4 Stunden Stadtführung mit Rushdi waren wie mit einem Freund seine Stadt zu erkunden. Wir haben viel über die Geschichte der Stadt und des Landes erfahren, was er teils aus eigener Erfahrung berichten konnte. Er ist immer auf Fragen und Wünsche von uns eingegangen. Had four hours with Rushdie, on a walking tour of Capetown. A charming guy with a wide range if knowledge. He is happy to tailor ths tour and his information/insights to your particular interests. Perfect English language skills as well. We are fortunate to have been able to travel the world over the last 30 years and he is one of the best guides that we have had.
