My friend and I booked a 2 hour trip on the Tagus River. Rui made it easy to find him in Belem at the dock. He is a perfect host as well as mariner, giving us his extensive history at sea, which made us both feel safe and at home. He catered the trip to do whatever we wanted to do as well as provided the most delicious cheeses, bread, wine, water for us. Conversation was interesting as he was able to tell us lots about Lisbon and the other side of the river that we hadn’t heard. He is a perfect gentleman and sailor and we recommend him highly. Wonderful Day At Sea!!!

We recently booked a sailing trip in Lisbon with Rui, and it was amazing. The boat was beautiful, and Riu was great company with fascinating stories and extensive knowledge. He also brought delicious local Portuguese snacks. What sets Rui apart is that he truly sails without using the engine, making the trip special and eco-friendly. We had a fantastic private tour with Rui! His 40 year old sailing boat was beautiful and authentic and had space to relax at the front and also below deck when the weather turned! Rui, with his extensive knowledge of the Lisbon, charm and strong sailing experience was a perfect host and I would definitely recommend to anyone else! The Portuguese wine and pate was incredible too!Brilliant Rui!!

We had a lovely afternoon with Rui! My husband and I enjoyed catching the wind in the sails on his sail boat, just the three of us. The weather (the wind!) was perfect. He is a kind man who was nice to visit with; we enjoyed vino and snacks and wonderful scenery. Such a nice way to spend time in Lisbon.A Great Sail on the Tagus River

We booked as a group of 5 ladies for a hen do from N.Ireland. Rui was so welcoming and professional and made us feel at ease as we had one nervous passenger. Rui showed us all the beautiful sites along the river and offered us some lovely wine and local pates, fruits and cheese to eat. Highly recommended booking with Rui he was very knowledgeable and accommodating we had such a great time! Would definitely book again with Rui if we come back to Lisbon Wonderful trip
