Salim was very knowledgable and easy to find. Though we were to go for 3 hours we actually went 4. He tried to make sure we understood his English but my wife and I both, had a lot of difficulty understanding, which made it a very tiring experience. We went to some very fascinating, local artisans. Though we were presented products to buy, we never felt pressured. At about 3 1/2 hours in, we reversed our walk towards where we began. This resulted in an uphill climb that we found very taxing.A long walk thru Fes

Salim was a true gentleman and absolute font of knowledge about Fes. He listened to what we were interested in and adapted plan to suit, whilst still advising and making recommendations about places we weren’t aware of. And he truly is a local who seems very well known and liked in the old city. Tour lasted longer than expected which was fine by us, Salims enthusiasm was contagious!Truely a walk around town with a local

alim our guide was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and traditions. We had a great entire day walking tour with him, though tiring at the end but was very informative and covered all the places as listed in the itinerary. We bought 3 tickets each which as mentioned was not included. We had coffee break, lunch break and occasional stops as required. Visited the tannery, pharmacy and other local shops. Our guide was very descriptive and through about detailing each site. One had to listen very carefully otherwise may miss some important info. At the end we all took a bus back to hotel, for a bus travel experience also.
Seems even with a car or van, we may have to walk inside the Medina for a cultural immersion. Cars cannot be driven inside the narrow alleys of Medina. Touring with Salim into the alleys of Medina was a very good experience, you'll love it. Prepare for a long day of walk, but worth it!!Fun, full day walking tour in Fez with a great guide! Really worth it!!

Salim is an amazing guide, he knows perfectly every detail of the Medina. He showed us all the main monuments and the curiosities. But we could also learn about the history and the traditions of this unique country. We really appreciate it and we recommend him. Thank you Salim!
