Salvatore, what can you say. First of all, he was incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English. We saw a lot in almost 3 hours and learnt even more. What we learnt about Palermo and Sicily in terms of history, church history and buildings during this time was incredibly interesting and informative. But Salvatore was also able to answer every question. It was a great morning and worth every cent. He loves his job. Simply great!

We were a group of 2 couples and wanted to learn about the real Palermo, not just the tourist highlights. We researched from Australia and were so pleased we found this tour with Salvatore. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his home town and shared his enthusiasm with us. He speaks excellent English and we still laugh when we remember him saying ‘Guys you gotta see this, it’s amazing’. It was an easy walking tour through Kalsa which is so rich with history.Amazing Tour - Don’t Miss This!

My tour of the Kalsa quarter with Salvatore was perfecto! I have been to Palermo many times and feel I am a bit more knowledgeable than the average tourist about the history of Palermo and Sicily. Yet this was my first time exploring Kalsa. You can tell Salvatore has a passion for his city and was very knowledgeable about the area we walked through. I was able to learn many new things about the history of the Kalsa and have a list of places to go back and explore on my own. I recommend this tour with Salvatore if you want to get away from the crush of the main Palermo sights and see a side that the locals experience, while learning how the city developed and expanded throughout the centuries.

Palermo outside the ancient city walls is in sharp contrast what we explored. He told us the real history of normal life and relations through centuries of muli cultural cohabitation between roman, greek arab and Israeli colture en cohabitance in peace.He is just great

We had the most wonderful time walking around the back streets enjoying some drinks and nibbles along the way. Salvatore is a very sympatico guy with great knowledge of the history of Napoli. I would recommend this tour to everyone experience Napoli at night with the locals
