Sam and his driver really made our stay in Colombo a day to remember. From all the temples, to the railway, to the market and lunch at a local Sri Lankan, Sam’s knowledge and enthusiasm was perfect for us to understand his city. With great deftness he got parking at every place we visited and we never had to wait for our car and driver. My wife and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a great travel experience!Sam is the Man!

Wir hatten einen schönen Tag mit Sam im lebhaften Colombo. Sam hatte von der Abholung bis hin zur Weiterreise nach der Tour alles perfekt für uns organisiert. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag in Colombo. Sam hat es verstanden, uns in seine Stadt mitzunehmen und an Orte zu bringen, die uns ohne seine Begleitung sicher entgangen wären. Wir waren Ende November 2022 mit einem Kreuzfahrtschiff in Colombo und haben in Sam unseren perfekten Guide gefunden. Sam hat uns am Eingang zum Hafen mit seinem Fahrer abgeholt und uns einen ganzen Tag Colombo gezeigt. Sam spricht fließend Englisch und gut Deutsch. Er hat unsere Wünsche perfekt umgesetzt und uns immer wieder mit neuen Ideen überrascht. Sam hatte seinen Fotoapparat dabei und uns im Nachhinein viele wunderschöne Bilder von der Tour geschickt. Sam ist super symphathisch und kennt sich in seiner Stadt hervorragend aus. Vielen Dank Sam für die phantastische Tour. We were in Colombo with a cruise ship at the end of November 2022 and found our perfect guide in Sam. Sam picked us up at the entrance to the port with his driver and showed us Colombo for a whole day. Sam speaks fluent English and good German. He perfectly implemented our wishes and surprised us again and again with new ideas. Sam had his camera with him and sent us many beautiful pictures of the tour afterwards. Sam is super sympathetic and knows his city very well. Thank you Sam for the fantastic tour. Mit Sam einen perfekten Tag erlebt.

Ursprünglich hatten wir bei Sam nur einen Tagesausflug in Colombo gebucht. Aber durch seine offene und sympathische Art haben wir uns spontan entschieden insgesamt 5 größere Touren mit Sam zu machen. Sam als Guide war perfekt: Sein Englisch war sehr gut, sein Deutsch war gut. Er war sehr offen, hatte viele kreative Ideen, war für spontane Änderungswünsche offen und konnte uns viel über Sri Lanka, über die Einwohner und über die Geschichte erzählen. Unsere Touren hat er mit seiner Kamera begleitet und uns am Ende wundervolle Bilder geschenkt, die uns nun als Erinnerung an einen phantastischen Urlaub und spannende Ausflüge erinnern können. Sam weiß genau was man sehen muss und was nicht und brachte seinen eigenen Fahrer mit, was die Führung sehr unkompliziert machte. Das Erlebnis in Colombo war unglaublich beeindruckend und Sam sehr nett, unkompliziert und hat sich immer auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingestellt. Wenn ihr jede Menge sehen möchtet nicht Sam! Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal für die tolle Führung und die Zugfahrt mit dem lokalen Zug. Ein super Erlebnis

I was flying through Colombo for just a brief 17-hour period on a long layover from Beijing to Mumbai. I didn't want to sit in the airport all-day and was hoping to get out and get a taste of Sri Lanka. I tried booking with several other tour operators but had a number of issues. Once I booked Sam's tour, he was quick to reply and helped me customize my day. I couldn't have found a better guide for exactly what I was looking for. He gave tons of information and different options to ensure that I was happy. I have had several local guides in various countries (+40) that I have visited and Sam's tour is easily top 5! His English is great and he's easy to talk to. I also loved that he always had his camera out and was snapping pictures. Can't recommend his tour enough - I will definitely be back for longer than 17 hours next time thanks to Sam!Sam's tour is a MUST

We really enjoyed our trip to Galle with Sam. He showed us some really beautiful places. His English is incredible good, that way it was easy for us to communicate. He shared a lot of interesting facts about the country and explained a lot to us. He came with a driver and the car ride was really smooth and save. Our hotel was a bit off the road and he had to travel nearly 200 additional kilometers to pick us up and to bring us home, but it was still very easy to find a way to still make it work with him, to a very reasonable price. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely book him again. Really great experience

My friend and I spent 2 days with Sam and our minibus driver. The four of us basically took on a big chunk of Sri Lanka driving and hiking. More than a guide, Sam became a close friend. Something about Sam and so many of the Sri Lankan people i came across is: genuine kindness. One touching moment, at the end of our trip, we were waiting for the train to come to take us to Ella -- the train was late, over an hour late, and Sam sat with us the entire time making sure we got on the train and on our way safely. Wow. Thank you Sam. During the hikes, my body isn't the most suited for this kind of exercise. But Sam was perfect. I didn't feel pressured to go faster than I wanted. And I didn't feel like he was annoyed when I would take long. Very understanding and gentle experience. I loved it -- and now I'm in love with hiking and want to do more! Thanks Sam. If you love hiking -- Sam is your man! Thank you for a wonderful 2 days Sam. If you love hiking -- Sam is your man!
