I would recommend Sandy in a heartbeat! I booked the tour while I was still back home in Canada and Sandy was super easy to communicate with through the With Locals website. I had only an evening layover in Vienna. Sandy picked me up from the airport and tailored a late night tour to accommodate my short time frame. Sandy also graciously accommodated my last minute request to invite two friends who had decided on short notice to fly from the UK to meet me in Vienna. Sandy's knowledge of Viennese history, architecture and culture is astounding and with her humorous anecdotes we were captivated. Sandy is also well travelled and we were able to share travel experiences. Vienna by night all lit up was magical and with Sandy's story telling, we were mesmerized. Meine Frau und ich waren beide schon lange nicht mehr in Wien und hatten nur noch relativ vage Erinnerungen an die Stadt. Sandy nahm uns auf unseren Wunsch zu Fuss auf eine 3h Uebersichtstour mit. Für uns war die Tour genau der richtige Einstieg für unseren 4.5 Tage Wien Aufenthalt. Sie hat uns die wichtigsten Seheswürdigikeiten in der Innenstadt gezeigt und uns mit Tips für die restlichen Tage versorgt. Die Tour endete im legendären schwarzen Kameel :). Sandy war eine angenehme und herzliche Reiseführerin.Herzlich

Sandy was a wonderful and friendly guide and truly knows all the best places. We ate many of the dishes in other places later in our holiday, and none of them compared to the places Sandy took us. She is very knowledgeable about Vienna.The best examples of Viennese cuisine

My daughter and I had the best food tour with Sandy. She showed us the authentic places not featured on TikTok/IG- where the locals go. The fact she has a journalist background was so great, as we had such interesting discussions about Austria and Viennese history while eating the best schnitzel and apple strudel I’ve ever tasted! Book with Sandy immediately!

Our family of four had lots of fun with Sandy on the pastry tour. We were in Vienna just for the weekend and this was a great way to get a little history, try some well known pastries and experience a few of the coffeehouses. Sandy is lovely and knowledgeable about the city and ensured that we tried a wide variety of treats. We learned about some of the culture and the old and newer traditions in the city on our walk through the old town. Huge thank you and we hope to stay in touch. Great pastry tour with Sandy!

When our family arrived two minutes early to the designated meet up location, we immediately started looking for Sandy. We searched everywhere in the vicinity, with no luck. Sandy later claimed she had been there, but if true, she didn’t look for us (a family of 4, obviously searching for someone). I texted 10 minutes after the meeting time and got no reply until about 20 minutes later, when she said she was already home and couldn’t get back for another 20 minutes. We’d waited in the cold for over 45 minutes at that point. This was wildly frustrating and disappointing to me and my family. What a terrible way to start our visit to Vienna, and totally surprising given the great experience we had with this company in Greece just a few years earlier.No show
