My husband and I had never been to Lucca, but had heard wonderful things about it from friends. We went on a private tour with Sara, and spent an enchanting few hours with her exploring the city. She was so knowledgeable about the history of the city, and her humor in telling us stories about what we were seeing added so much fun to the facts. We loved the way she would talk about the history of a place and then relate it to present day. We ended our tour with a delicious lunch at a restaurant she had reserved for us in the heart of the city. I highly recommend taking a private tour; and don’t forget to ask for Sara!!Lucca with Sara was Magic!

Super friendly Sara showed us around the walled city of Lucca, sharing her knowledge of how the city was built from roman and medieval times to current day. Walking us to historic churches and areas of the town we would not have found, pointing out historic details and telling the many stories of the rich history of Lucca! Enjoyed tasting local delicacy and appreciated and tried (!) the restaurant and café recommendations. A wonderful afternoon, thank you Sara.Wonderful afternoon in Lucca Sara!

Sara was a wonderful guide for our private group of 4. She was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. She was also good fun and soon tuned in to our Northern Irish humour !
