We were fortunate to have a very engaging and knowledgeable guide , Sara. She showed us parts of Lucca, we would never have discovered on our own. Very informative and we loved the trivia about people and buildings. As there were only two of us, the price is expensive but we enjoyed the experience.A perfect guide Great tour of Lucca

Lucca is a fabulous city! Sadly we had fairly heavy rain for our evening tour, however Sara was amazing! She was able to guide us to sheltered spots so that she could share her intriguing stories with us. Her knowledge of the history and culture of the areas was so enjoyable! I hope we have the opportunity to visit Lucca again- we would definitely book a tour with Sara again! Beautiful evening!

Sara is a wonderful guide. She is knowledgeable, personable and fun. She provided great information on the history and architecture of Lucca, in addition to explaining the local delicacies. Our only suggestion would be to include a greater variety in the foods sampled.Wonderful Guide

We spent 3 hours on a food tour with Sara. Even before the tour she was extremely flexible with our timing and the need to change days. She also met us at our apartment instead of the more distant meeting place. Sara has a great sense of humor and, along with some Lucca history, she taught us about little tidbits of local lore. We tasted some Lucca specialties along with gelato and chocolates. She also brought us to an artisan shop where the proprietor was actually working at her old fashioned loom making some of her beautiful wares. We really appreciated the touch of local color. We finished the tour with a light lunch of Tordelli Lucchese and delicious Frontanoio soup. A tour with Sara would be especially good for history buffs!Delightful guide

Sara guided us through Lucca for over 3 hours and did a fantastic job at providing a highlight of the town. She is knowledgeable, funny, and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a good experience. She even did a little extra research for us on a very niche topic we were interested in. Wonderful Private Tour!

We spent a couple hours with Sara yesterday getting an overview of Pisa, spending more time focused on the areas outside the Field of Miracles. While that tourist Mecca is gorgeous and interesting, we also enjoyed learning about everyday life of locals in Pisa. Sara is a great spokesperson for her city and her love for it shines through all of her stories. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sara a bit and spending time in her lovely city. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

We all enjoyed our afternoon with Sara! She was engaging, witty, clearly intelligent and well-informed, and willing to adjust in the moment to our specific interests. Her professionalism shone through - in how she communicated with us, in the pacing of the tour, and in her balanced presentation of the history and culture of Lucca. Despite our jet-lagged brains, intermittent rain, and the press of other visitors, we concluded the tour with a deeper understanding of Lucca during the Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance eras. It was a great introduction to the city and it continued to feed our curiosities as we explored Lucca during the week of our visit. Thank you Sara!A Great Introduction to Lucca

We had the pleasure of taking a 3 hour tour in Lucca with Sara! She did an excellent job to show us the ancient parts of lucca, shared a lot of fascinating facts and little-known details about Lucca and it's friendship with the neighbouring town of Pisa ;-) Our big group - though no everybody spoke fluently english - was impressed and delighted. She took care of everybody though we were may and was flexible and kind. Thank you, Sara, for making this tour so memorable for all of us. We can highly recommend her.Perfect to get acquainted with lucca
