I was born and raised in Japan and after graduating from university,

I studied international tourism and completed an internship in California.

After the internship I worked at a hotel in Hawaii and then moved to Singapore to work as a vacation consultant.

Travelling has always been my passion and I have been to more than 20 countries. It excites me to experience different cultures and meet new people. However after living abroad, I found myself appreciating Japanese culture and finding it even more interesting then I ever did before.

There are a lot of unique cultures, great food and interesting places to see. Now I am excited to share these different Japanese cultures with people from around the world🇯🇵🌸

We fully enjoyed walking around the main streets and of highlights of Shibuya with Sena. The area is vibrant and crowded, Sena guided us to the most iconic spots like the Shibuya crossing, we saw it from above and did the crossing in person. We visited some nice comercial areas all reachable from the train station underground. We walked around the old streets were authentic small food booths are located. We went sake tasting. Sena kindly recommended and drop us to an excellent restaurant that served great sushi. We highly recommend Sena.Visting Shibuya

We had a wonderful food tour with Sena! First of all, it was fun to be outside of central Tokyo and away from a touristy area. We enjoyed all of the different types of food she shared with us from sushi and gyoza to a seasonal treat of cherry blossom mochi. Everything was delicious! Thank you for a lovely tour.Great food tour!

We loved our tour with Sena, she was an absolute gem and such a delight to take us around some parts of Tokyo. She was extremely knowledgeable of the Japanese culture and food. We asked many questions and tasted many types of traditional food, soooo much to eat . She also gave us a few tips and helped us with a few things we were stuck on. Her communication with us prior to the tour was incredible. Amazing tour! Tokyo Gem

Sena was a delight to be with and walk the streets of the Kichijoji sector of Tokyo. The hustle and bustle as the evening progressed was magical. The food stops were perfect but truth be told we were full after the first three stops. Here's a tip, skip lunch before embarking. We found a way to fight through it and were rewarded at the end with dessert - with fish shaped, cream filled pancakes. As none of us spoke Japanese, Sena's English was flawless and only surpassed by her energy and willingness to satisfy our curiosity and answer all of our questions. She even humored us with a beer run to a local market/convenience store which he drank al fresco at a local park under cover of night. It was my first experience hiring a local guide through With Locals and it was the best welcome we could have hoped for to see Tokyo for the first time. We were a group of 7 friends, gentlemen and ladies and we all had a fantastic time, thanks to Sena. Arigato!A delightful walk.

My wife, son, and I recently visited Japan for the first time. It was exciting, and potentially a bit overwhelming! I've used withlocals on other trips and fortunately came across Sena as we looked into hiring a guide to show us around Shibuya. It ended up becoming one of the highlights of the trip! Sena reached out to us before we arrived, and graciously came up with a nice itinerary tailored to what my wife and 13 yo son were interested in. She made us feel very comfortable, and we had a nice, authentic few hours with her. The time flew by, and when it was over we realized we should have booked her for a second outing! Oh well, next time. Sometimes when you are tourists in a new place, hiring a guide sounds good, but sometimes there is an awkwardness having a stranger showing you around. Definitely not the case with Sena. There was no language barrier, and she gave my wife some great suggestions for her specific shopping goals. All round a great few hours and we would definitely hire Sena again! Arigato!A great Guide for First Timers to Japan

Sena was a great guide who tailored the tour to our own needs. She was charming and knowledgable and made this a very memorable experience. Kichijoji was a a fascinating place and the food was fantastic, it was a highlight of our Japan trip. Food and so much more.

Sena tailored our tour to our tastes perfectly and showed us some beyond-the-crowds places which we enjoyed immensely. Sena is knowledgeable and a lovely host. We did a bit of shopping as well as the tastings and ended up buying some of the Saki we tried. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Sena. Excellent Tokyo tour

We had a wonderful time with Sena! She speaks English very well and did a great job answering our questions and explaining the food and culture of Japan. We took the tour before heading to the airport and had all of our luggage with us. Sena helped us find nearby storage for our luggage as well as navigate the trading routes back to the airport after the tour. None of that was part of the tour but Sena was so kind and helpful. The food tour itself was awesome. Pace yourself! There are so many foods to try! Sena did a great job of introducing us to a wide range of interesting and delicious foods. The final stop was at a beautiful park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Magical! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Sena!A wonderful experience

Sena is really friendly and I had a really good time with her. If you have any questions about japan Sena will give you the answer and many tips of where to go to shop, eat... I recommand a tour with Sena ! Especially for the solo traveler : don't be afraid and just book a tour !Amazing !
