There were four of us and we had a great food tour with Silvia. She was a great guide and we learned about the food and some history about Mexico City. We had plenty to eat and had a really enjoyable afternoon. Great Food Tour

We so enjoyed our food tour of Centro CDMX with Silvia. She took us to a place where Al Pastor tacos were "invented" as well as El Moro, the first churros restaurant in CDMX. Silvia speaks perfect English and walked at a leisurly pace so it was easy to keep up with her in spite of all the people on the sidewalks and streets. I had never booked with withlocals.com but after this experience, I'll be seeking them out.Silvia was terrific!

Loved our tour with Silvia, she was very kind, and really knew everything we had asked. She was a delight. The only feedback would have is for a food tour with five stops - three of them were tacos so it would have been nice to have more variety than tacos three times. Otherwise, would definitely recommend Silvia and this tour to foodies. Silvia is wonderful, great experience

I booked this tour for my parents and confirmed with Siliva right away, telling her about their food preferences etc. They went to the meeting spot 30 minutes early and looked for her for 1 hour asking the people inside the Latin American Tour. The security desk inside the building even tried calling Silvia. Silvia told me my parents didn't show up but I don't see how it's possible that Silvia was there and didn't find them. Silvia said that she called their hotel the day before and was told my parents weren't feeling well (not sure that's true or not) so I'm thinking Silvia rolled the dice and banked on my parents not showing up. She didn't bother calling the hotel when she couldn't find them, which again seems odd if she was being truthful. Silvia said she left after an hour and won't provide a refund but if the tour was 3 hours long, then why would she leave after just one hour since she was paid in full? This whole thing doesn't make sense. Didn't show up

Silvia showed us the heart and soul of downtown CDMX and the local food stops were great. Very informative information about the city's history and architecture. Highly recommend Silvia for your tour. Silvia was awesome

The experience was amazing, Sylvia introduced us to the traditional and various types of tacos with the history of its origin. But not only was it about the food, it was also a lot of information about the history of architecture and culture. Sylvia is very well knowledged about Mexican heritage and culture and it was lovely hearing all our questions being answered. Highly recommended tour.A great culinary and historic exoerience
