I am a journalist and cultural manager from Patagonia. I have arrived in Barcelona 15 years and i have already felt as if I am a local. I work in a Cultural Association developing socio-cultural projects. I really enjoy the cultural offer of the city, the combination of sea and mountains, festivals, interculturality ... I always make time to swim in the Mediterranean, and I really enjoy walking in all corners of Montjuic, the magic mountain of Barcleona.

Tour is billed as a customized tour to the clients taste. Far from the truth in our experience. At first greeting were told exactly what we were going to do even though we had said we did not want to go to a certain market as we had been already and found exactly what we did not want there. Silvina was very pleasant person but never asked anything about our wishes. Very cookie cutter tour. Don’t waste your money go to the markets yourself. Maybe we were not forceful enough but should we have to be?A lot of $ for a minimal experience

Food venues chosen were mediocre at best; the market was skipped due to a closing but nothing was substituted and the guide was lackluster.Skip this tour

Sylvina was very friendly and kind and to her credit patient with us as we were quite tired. I found the tour to be lacking the usual history of food, explanation behind the food choices etc. Places visited were very loud so maybe she chose to say less as it was hard to hear. Overall fine but not worth the cost. Dissapointing

We had a fantastic 3 hour walking food tour with Silvina. We knew it was going to be great when we started with churros & chocolate! The variety of food we had was great and our vegetarian son didn’t feel he missed out as there were options for him available. The walk through la ramblas was fantastic, we stumbled across a street art competition which was a bonus. The time flew past, Silvina is such an interesting person, we could have talked with her all day. Definitely someone I would recommend to take you on a tour. Fantastic food tour

Silvina was so laid back and sweet - we did the tasting tour and I will forever love her for introducing me to Vermut and to Pinchos. She was mellow and kind and immediately felt like that one dear friend who you know takes care of everybody. She was kind and gentle with us - two very tired and somewhat confused first-time tourists to Spain and she made she we went to wonderful, small, lively and friendly places to try different tastes. As we walked from place to place across different areas of Barcelona, we were treated to some history and stories of the city. I also appreicated Silvina's creative approach to us scheduling the tour after La Bouqueria market would be closed - I don't feel like I missed a thing! I'm grateful that I got to spend my first night in Barcelona "going out" with Silvina - it was a big treat!Sweet Caretaker of Tired /Hungry Tourists

We decided to meet with Silvina on our first night in Barcelona to get a better idea of where to go and what to do. We had a lovely time and her passion and knowledge shone through. We tried the food and drinks she recommended which didn’t disappoint and Silvina gave us lots of food destination recommendations which we will endeavour to follow during our stay. We had great conversation about different subjects and it was a very positive introduction to Barcelona and I would highly recommend With Locals as a result. A great introduction to Barcelona

Our evening with Silvina was wonderful! She is so warm, open, and knowledgeable;; we felt like we were locals for an evening because she took us to places we never would have found on our own. The pinchos were creative and tasty, and the drinks were good. When we at last had to say goodbye, we were saying hasta la vista to a friend.Fabtastic Night in Barcelona’

It was an absolute pleasure to share an evening with Silvina. We did the Drinks and Bites tour and it was one of the best nights we had during our stay in Barcelona. She was very knowledgable about the food and very friendly. She showed us a side of Barcelona would have not experienced without her. The night was amazing. We honestly laughed and cried throughout the evening sharing stories and comparing the different parts of the world we come from. If you take Silvina up on a tour, please try and get to know the person behind the tour guide. Silvina is an amazing person with a great story.
