Thank you Sozum! We had an incredible time with you on the 10 tastes of Istanbul! Honestly, I cannot recommend Sozum more highly. She took us to parts of Istanbul we would not have known about and she facilitated fabulous tastings. This was the best food we ate in Instanbul! Sozum was wonderful company and we felt that we got to know this huge, complex and wonderful city just a little better and more meaningfully. Sozum went out of her way to accommodate our needs and dietary constraints and was the best company!!!! Wonderful experience!

We did this tour at the beginning of our Turkiye trip and I can't recommend it enough. Sozum was a wonderful host. She is a true local with true warmth. She was flexible and wanted to know how she could tweak the tour to our likes. I feel very grateful for this authentic and enriching experience. It also helped get our bearings of the city early on. My food tour with Sözüm was everything I could have hoped for. Sözüm is a smart, knowledgeable, and friendly guide who knows her neighborhood well and has a great selection of eateries to choose from. All of the foods she selected were tasty, and some were exceptionally so. A feature of the tour that I really liked was that it progressed from light, easy starters, such as pickled baby melons and carrots, to more substantial dishes, much as you would do at your home. We topped off the tour with delicious sorbets, a great dessert to end on. Sözüm has extensive knowledge about the food she's sharing, but she's also great to talk with about a wide variety of subjects related to Istanbul--and about many other topics. And I should mention that the part of the city where the tour takes place, Kadikoy, is one that you could easily overlook, but it's absolutely a fascinating place for a food tour. Our guide Sözüm was knowledge and very personable. We so enjoyed our evening. She was so friendly that it felt like being out with a friend. We learned a good deal about the Turkish culture and foods and thoroughly enjoyed all our stops on this food tour. Definitely a highlight of our trip!Fabulous Food Tour with Sözüm

We had a great food tour in Kadikoy with Sozum. She was able to cater for us all and told us so much about the food, the area and the ingredients. So different, much better than just a single stop we went to multiple shops and restaurants. Kadikoy is a buzzy area and all the food was spectacular. Super fun guide and well worth it. We like to take a food tour early in our stays in new cities and the tour we took with Sozum was a fantastic way to learn about Turkish food, customs, and the geography of the part of IST where we toured. The food was outstanding, but most of all, Sozum provided so much local knowledge. My husband, three sons and I met with Sozum in front of Ali Pasha Mosque and went on an evening walk in Karakoy and ended our tour on Istiklal street. We walked the busy streets of Karakoy, enjoyed small dishes at various pit stops, and street vendors, all while learning about Istanbul and it’s rich history. My three teenage boys enjoyed every minute of the tour and loved all the food recommendations by Sozum. We did not feel the time pass and are very thankful to Sozum for giving us such a wonderful introduction.to Istanbul 😊The best introduction to Istanbul

This tour was lovely, Sözüm had kept us entertained the whole time. We had great food with great conversations. We saw great sites and learned a lot about Istanbul too. In short this is what an ideal tour should be.Great

My 10-year-old daughter, husband and I had a magnificent evening with Sozum. We learned new things, saw unique corners of the city, and had a marvelous time in her company. Highly recommend doing a food tour with Sozum! She knows her stuff and will put you so at ease. You Won't Regret It
