I didn’t get who I asked for, so I’m leaving feedback for Sandy. He was very informative and lovely. He could speak a little louder when in noisy environments. The tour itself was not as good as I was expecting TBH. I thought we’d visit a few more places of significance.Review

We learned a lot of new things, e.g. that there are 99 different types of dates in Dubai, that Dubai used to be a resting place for pilgrims to Mecca, that the Persians brought spices to the Arabian Peninsula and that despite different cultures we can laugh about so many things together. Sandy stepped in for Scruthy as she had just had a baby but it was a perfect handover. Sandy is a fun, spirited and expert guy full of authentic stories about life in Dubai and lots of helpful tips about how to navigate the city. We enjoyed every minute with him! Our guide Sruthy (Sandy) was a great guide. Very well informed about the history of Dubai, the UAE, the structure of the royal families etc., and took us on a journey of discovery. 100% worth doing, the sights, sounds, smells and tastes were fantastic.Wonderful insight into old Dubai

Gomez, Sandy & Sruthy communicated well via whatsapp and was quite understanding when the group wasn't at the meeting place on time. It was a very engaging food tour where the group was able to try a lot of different food items with enough time to look around should you choose to do so in between meals. Though most items were yummy, we definitely loved the chicken and the salad dressing.Great experience

We had a great tour with Sandy. He has a lot of knowledge about thr UAE and Dubai. Great spots for Arabic foot. Tip: skip your lunch or breakfast before you start this tour ;-)Great tour with lovely food

Wir haben eine großartige Food Tour in Dubai in der Altstadt gemacht. Die Tour war ein tolles Erlebnis mit vielen Leckereien, die wir zum Teil sonst nie probiert hätten. Wir haben den Gold-Souk und den Gewürz-Souk besucht, wo wir einige schöne Schätze gefunden und gekauft haben. Wir haben Eis aus Kamelmilch probiert, das sehr cremig und erfrischend war. Es gab tolle Snacks in verschiedenen Restaurants, die man unbedingt mal wieder aufsuchen sollte, wenn man wieder in Dubai zu Gast ist. Dazu gab es eine Wassertaxifahrt über den nächtlichen Dubai-Creek, der wunderschön beleuchtet war. Unser Guide war sehr sympathisch, witzig und informativ. Er hat uns viel über die Geschichte und Kultur von Dubai erzählt und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Es war ein fantastischer Abend mit einem tollen Guide, dem wir jedem empfehlen können, der die kulinarische Vielfalt von Dubai entdecken möchte.Großartige Foodtour

Sandy was excellent. He was very accommodating to my wife who is vegetarian. Great small restaurants with good food. Also gave us a good presentation of the area and its history. The only negative was the last stop which was the Arabian Tea House which was big and crowded. We would have preferred a small place like the others.Great food on a private tour

I scheduled with Sruthy, however, Sandy was my guide on the day of the tour. I had a great time with Sandy who provided a lot of history and detail to the area and food that I ate. The tour was everything I had hoped for and I would recommend Sandy again. Sandy was a great guide!

Although we got off to a rocky start as the host did not get or see the booking confirmed 3 hours earlier on the same day, and this cost me an hour waiting at the meeting point melting in the heat, whilst trying to converse with the chat agent. It was frustrating not being able to actually talk to someone, rather that a chat agent whom your not sure it virtual or real. But after a rocky start, they managed to locate the host who eventually assigned the job to another host closer to our location. After approx 90mins of chaos, we finally met the new host “Sandy” who was a delight and absolutely made up for the rocky start so we enjoyed the rest of the day. Great job ✅🙏Rocky start
