Spending time with Stavros was one of the highlights of our Athens vacation. Whether you’re gay or just a friend of the gay community, this is a not-to-be missed experience. Stavros not only provides information about Athens’s gay community but also includes historical references of Athens and its monuments. Moreover, Stavros is an all around nice guy. He patiently answered all our questions and even sent us pictures of our tour. We really enjoyed meeting him and learning more about Athens and its gay community.Not-to-be-missed tour

I arrived in Athens wanting to connect with the city’s LGBTQ+ history—Stavros did a fantastic job at combining stories about Athens’s gay past, mixed with observations about its present culture. Stavros is incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and in a country which has been slower to support LGBTQ+ people than some of its European neighbors, his tour felt like a really affirming form of activism. I’d highly recommend it!Great experience!

We had an excellent evening exploring the story of gay Athens from ancient times to today with Stavros. More than that, we have met a new friend in Greece. From the moment we met Stavros at Parliament, we felt his friendly demeanor. He had excellent ideas and I sight into the unwritten gay history of the city. We went around to many historical sites ina leisurely, circular walk. At the end, we sat and chatted at a gay cafe where we had a drink and shared some pizza. A wonderful cap to our first day in Athens. We highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed!! Thank you Stavros!! Great evening with Stavros!

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Stavros. He shared some truly fascinating insights on LGBTQ life and its history in Athens. He truly takes very justifiable pride in his tours and really showcases Athens.
Additionally Stavros is a very attentive and friendly person who was proactive in his communications with me as I had asked to customize the tour by starting with a visit to the Panethenaic Stadium. He reached out to me to let me know about an event that was taking place at the stadium and advised me on what was still available at the stadium during my visit.
In the end we had a truly memorable visit to the stadium and we ended up seeing so many beautiful sites in Athens. All topped off with my first delicious taste of Goat Milk ice cream in lieu of a drink at a bar as I’m not much of a drinker.
Stavros and his tour exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. I couldn’t be happier.

Stavros offers a well designed tour and doesn’t spare with fun and serious facts. He tells also some enjoyable stories from history and now. I enjoyed the walk and talk a lot. Time was flying fast and so I can only recommend this tour.Insights included

Stavros is a wonderful storyteller, he really engages his clients, shares his knowledge and personal experiences and is well worth spending a few hours with. He should do more tours, he knows about Greek History from the classical period to recent history, he should share this with a wider audience.An evening tour with Stavros and Plato.
