Knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and fun, Stefano overcame communication challenges to create a great experience.
Two months after a confirmed booking and after several unanswered messages, we finally received a response shortly before the scheduled start of the tour. Apparently, WithLocals did not convey our messages to Stefano.
Things happen. The test of one’s mettle is how well they adapt to the challenge. Stefano adjusted his life schedule to accommodate us. He provided an informational experience and excellent overview of the community. We met interesting people and saw key sites. We learned a lot in an enjoyable manner. Stefano was an excellent guide. He was a ten-star host.
The communication challenge with WithLocals caused the loss of a star.

Stefano is very patient with us and great with recommendations from everything from bookstores, restaurants to ice cream. Visiting from the U.S. a group of friends wanted to learn more about the LGBT history of Barcelona. Stefano brought it all to life during our walking tour. He was very informative, engaging, and accommodating. He walked us through not only LBGT landmarks and memorials, but shared stories and his personal perspectives. We throughly enjoy our time! Stefano gave us a wonderful tour of parts of Barcelona that we otherwise would not have seen. It was very interesting and poignant to see and hear about some of the darker periods of Barcelona’s history, especially pertaining to its LGBTQ+ residents. All the more reason to appreciate the open and accepting environment here now, but also a reminder that we must never forget our history.A wonderful historical overview

Stefano’s tour is one of a kind. Stefano’s charismatic and welcoming personality is only outshined by the vast knowledge he has about the LGBT+ history in BCN. This was one of, if not the best, walking tours I have been on. I had no idea of the vast and intricate history of the LGBT+ community and how it is interwoven into so many important buildings, movements, and periods. Stefano has a magical way of transforming the city and making you realize how much work was done creating such a welcoming and beautiful environment. I would tell everyone this tour is a must do!
