Our guide Süleyman provided us with a brief history of Izmir monuments near Konak tower. We walked around the bazaar exploring the different shops. We had some tea and coffee as well as a few local sweets. As we arrived late afternoon and many of the shops were starting to close, but the experience was enjoyable. Süleyman was knowledgeable and provided us with many recommendations for our visit. Great Intro to Izmir and more…

Süleyman provided us with a comprehensive and unique tour through Izmir, including the Kemeralti, Bostanli, Carsiaka and Alsansak. We sampled a superb variety of traditional food and were provided with great insights into the Turkish way of life be-it historic or contemporary. Süleyman’s superior expertise and experience in matters of interest to us made this an unforgettable and delightful tour that we will keep in high regards for years to come.
