This was our second time in Vienna and having toured the main sites last year, we decided to explore the city via a food tour. It turned out to be great decision as Susanne gave us a brand new introduction to Vienna. This was far more than a food and drink tasting tour. Susanne's experiences of growing up in Vienna give her great perspective on what has changed over the years and what stays the same. We were introduced to many interesting places and all the food and drinks were outstanding. Thank you, Susanne for making this a fun way to get to know Vienna. Fabulous all round

Suzanne really brings to life the downtown city with her local knowledge, finding gems while being flexible to fit our interests. She is very friendly and a wonderful host. I will say the tour description is a little deceptive, suggesting 10 tastings. We ended up visiting six places (ice cream, wine tasting, polish sandwiches, Viennese coffee with Apfel strudel, an amazing specialty chocolate shop and some street sausages. For two people, the price seemed a little much. Perhaps a small adjustment for the smaller amount of food/drink consumed would make sense for only two people.Relaxing food tasting experience

Susanne gave us a wonderful uniquely tailored tour for our small group. I contacted Susanne about an evening tour because we didn’t like the tour our river cruise was offering—but we wanted to visit Vienna at night. She developed a bespoke tour for us, that considered our interest, and had a great sense of fun. A bit of culture, history, fun and spooky all wrapped up together. We joined her for drinks and dinner, and then we walked all around the center of old Vienna. We got to see the lovely capital in the evening, while being entertained by our guide. We all said how this tour was our highlight in Vienna. Susanne is a wonderful guide, who really went out of her way to meet our requests. We give her our highest recommendation. Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

Susanne is a very warm and engaging person, with an enormous amount of knowledge on Vienna due to her historian background. She is a wonderful storyteller, bringing to life snippets of interesting information about the places we visited. When we experienced a delay at one of the cafes we visited Susanne kept us entertained with more stories. Ultimately we ended up moving to another cafe due to the delay, but that was by no means any fault of Susanne's. We enjoyed our foodie tour. The tastings and the history along the way were a wonderful introduction on our first day in Vienna.Cold day but warm experience

This tour with Susanne is great in several key ways. One of our group members had a gluten allergy, and Susanne was empathetic and helpful to provide suggestions and alternatives; I think this was the biggest reason we had such a positive experience. Our group of four loves to learn about history, and so we enjoyed seeing the sights between each food stop and learning about them, as well as understanding the current and historical context behind the food we ate. There were more stops with smaller amounts of food, which I think was a good way to experience many different culinary environments. We still had time to linger at each place, so we did not feel like we were in a hurry. Susanne was a personable and friendly person to follow. Some tour guides seem like they're reciting a script or working on "auto-pilot," but with Susanne, conversation flowed naturally all while she led us through Innere Stadt. We felt comfortable with her, and I strongly recommend this tour with her!An inclusive and educational experience!
