Kalispera (good evening) to everyone !!!! :) I am Tatialena and I was born and raised in Athens. After finishing my studies in Greek Philology (classics, literature, drama and history) I attended an Acting school and as an actress I started working in hotels as an entertainer and it was then when I realised that not only art is my passion but also travelling and tourism. And here I am !!! Since 2017 I am working as a Tour Leader and as a Local guide in Greece and Europe. As a traveler I know that if you really want to learn about a new country you should spend at least one day as a local. So what about spending a day in Athens as a real Athenian?

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a food tour in the Monastiraki Square area of Athens with Tatialena, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we met her, her warmth and genuine passion for Athenian cuisine and history were evident. Traveling with our four-month-old son presented some unique challenges, but Tatialena handled everything with incredible grace and understanding. We enjoyed a fabulous tour with Tati who was a friendly, engaging and entertaining guide. We visited many family-run places that we would not have found ourselves which is exactly why we like these tours. Tati shared information about the history of Athens as well as some of her family stories. It was a really enjoyable tour and a highlight of our stay. Thanks Tati!Great food, great guide

We booked a 3 hour food tour with Tatialena. She was unavailable on the door and she organised for "Chris" to lead our tour. Chris was absolutely fabulous. We had the most entertaining tour, filled with wonderful and interesting food, local stories, discussions about life in Athens, learning some Greek traditions, humour, and Chris "hit the mark" perfectly for our family of 4. Chris was very generous with his time, we laughed and conversed like old friends, and at the end of the tour he provided us with a list of "special local" sites and cafes to visit. We couldn't be more happier with the experience we had and Chris really fuelled our passion to discover more of Athens. One of the best tours we have ever booked!

Our tour with Tatialena was the perfect introduction to Athens. We arrived early in the day but her energy and expertise helped us fight off jet lag, get a great orientation to the city, and try a variety of local specialties. We ended the afternoon very full with a good sense of the culinary treats what we could look forward to the rest of our trip. Tatielana also offered advice on other must-see attractions and gave us a few hints of how to enjoy Athens like a local. I highly recommend this tour. Fantastic first day in Athens!

My husband and I were treated to a wonderful food tour of Athens by Tatialena. She took us to several local places, as well as the food market, and we tried many delicious dishes, as well as some local drinks. We were certainly not hungry by the end of the tour! Tatialena herself was friendly and helpful, informing us of many local facts and stories/suspicions along the way. I would highly recommend this tour and Tatialena as your guide.Great food tour with Tatialena

Tatialena was a sweet, enthusiastic guide through the streets and lanes of Athens. A little bit of history, a little bit of pop culture and lots of interesting facts as we wound our through hectic markets, graffiti lined streets, tree lined plazas and the quite places under the Acropolis. Tatialena did a great job on the Athens Tour. We explored several interesting neighborhoods, visited the Central Market and a few local craftsmen, and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Tatialena for a fun and interesting Athens Tour.Great tour with Tatialena
