Born and raised in Taiwan, I later spent several years in the US for graduate studies before making Okinawa my home in 2009. With over a decade of experience living and working on military bases, I have a deep understanding of both local and expat communities. I'm fluent in English and Chinese and can navigate conversations in Japanese as well.

When I'm not working, you'll most likely find me checking out cafes, restaurants, and attending activities organized by local community centers. Other than that, I enjoy hosting parties at home, snorkeling in Okinawa's crystal-clear waters during summer, and hitting the slopes for a ski adventure elsewhere in winter (too bad no snow in Okinawa). I also have a soft spot for cats and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can.

My background as a longtime English teacher in Taiwan and Okinawa has given me the patience, communication skills, and cultural sensitivity to connect with people from all walks of life. I'm passionate about helping visitors experience Okinawa in a hands-on way beyond the typical tourist spots. What sets me apart?
