Born and raised in Genoa, I lived in the UK for many years where I discovered the pleasure of sharing my knowledge about Italian and Genoese history. We are immensely proud of our city.

I can offer a realistic trip, visiting the most interesting places, along with my personal recommendations that are often overlooked. I can suggest places for a proper lunch, avoiding tourist traps and ensuring high-quality food. Additionally, I offer lessons on Genoa's history in a friendly manner, explaining its significance, particularly its role in the unification of the Italian state.

We had an amazing tour with Thomas, who is so passionate about his city and eager to share his wealth of knowledge about history, culture, food, and so much more! It truly didn't feel like a tour; more like hanging out with a new friend who knows all the best places to get focaccia and see spectacular views, though Thomas is also professional and responsive to individual needs, such as finding vegetarian options. We can't imagine a better way to start a visit to this wonderful city than a tour with Thomas!Highlight of our time in Genova!

Thomas is an amazing guide: smart, funny, super knowledgeable and passionate about his home town of Genoa. There was no topic "off limits" with Thomas and he seemed to have an answer to every question -- from medieval history to tech start-ups and everything in between. Do not even think about using another guide in Genoa -- Thomas is THE man! :-) Superb guide!

Great night on our first night in Genova. Thomas met us at our hotel and walked with us to the city center, sharing history, key historic locations, and stories along the way. The food stops were great, authentic, and clearly part of the community. (It's November, but no tourists were to be found on our stops!) Places were so small they'd have been unable to accommodate larger food tours. Thomas also took the time to tailor our tour to our interests. Finally, when Thomas says he grew up in Genova- he means it! Right in old town- we ran into at least 4 of his friends, including his barber. We had a great first night in Genova - book a tour with Thomas!Awesome time!

Thomas is a born and raised Genoan who loves his city and his tour exemplifies that affection and extensive knowledge of its history. We had a delightful walk around the interesting nooks and crannies of the city as well a stop for two "must eats" of Genoa. Thomas followed up with a list of 'not too miss' museums and restaurants for us. Great tour and afternoon with Thomas
