My name is Tiberiu(s), or Tibi for short, and I am a former IT Service Manager who found his passion in tour guiding over 7 years ago.

With full time availability since mid 2023, I am more than excited to take you on a mini-journey of Budapest including tastings tours as well. I am also more than open to adapt the tours to your needs (in terms of length and destinations) and we may even go outside of the city, if you'd like to, since I own a car. I can also organize vans or buses, if needed.

My favorite places in Budapest are City Park and the Castle District, both of which I am more than happy to show you in detail.

Tiberiu ist sehr freundlich, spricht hervorragend Deutsch, hat ein umfassendes Wissen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Geschichte Budapests und hat mit vielen Ideen dafür gesorgt, dass auch unserem neunjährigen Sohn nie langweilig wurde. Auch im Nachgang gab er uns viele Tipps zur weiteren Gestaltung unseres Aufenthalts. Vielen Dank! Tibi was an excellent guide. My original guide got sick and had to cancel, I was able to book Tibi for a food tasting in the Jewish area last minute. He worked with my schedule and we had a lovely time wondering around, eating and learning about this historical area of Budapest. We only had a weekend in Budapest so I booked Tibi for a 3 hour tour. We easily could have spent all day with him. He has a wealth of information about a wide variety of subjects from the history of the city, the government, where to get the best food, art, and so much more. He was friendly and easy going and a massive help in showing us what he could in a short time, and maneuvering us through the city via public transport. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and saw what we wanted to. Highly recommend. He clearly loves what he does and is awesome at it! A pleasure to work with and exactly what we needed to a rundown of the city:) Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour walking tour with Tiberiu. It was easy to message him beforehand and arrange our meeting place. Tiberiu met us on time, with a chimney cake for us to share! He gave us options of where to go and what to see. He pitched the tour just right, plenty of information but not overwhelming. He answered all our questions. He also gave great recommendations for places to eat, have coffee etc. We would certainly recommend this walking tour.A great introduction to Budapest

Tibi was so amazing. I had an amazing food tour with him. He went at a perfect pace all the food options were items I would not have picked and loved them all. He mixed in a nice anount of history and even food history. I learned the difference between Hungarian stew and soup!! In the US we have it all wrong. He even shared personal photos of preparation. Gave me ideas for the rest of my stay! It was something I would repeat again. Reach out to Tibi and talk to him about what kind of tour you want to do! I loved it. Amazing customized food tour

Wir hatten eine dreistündige Stadtführung durch Budapest mit Tiberius gebucht. Es war sehr informativ und unterhaltsam, mit guter Laune, und viel Spaß. Ich würde jedem, der in Budapest ist und die Stadt noch nicht ganz gut kennt, eine solche Führung empfehlen.Sehr schöne und unterhaltsame Führung

I want to begin with thanking Tibi for a fantastic food and drink tour two weeks ago! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour from start to finish. He introduced us to many of great tastes of Budapest. We also had a nice walking tour including the Jewish quarter and the ruin bar district. Tibi went above and beyond for us, walking us back to our hotel and he even met up with us the next day to deliver us “Tibi”chocolate bars! Our Canadian group loved our visit to Budapest! Wir haben mit Tibi 3 Stunden lang das wundervolle Budapest anschauen dürfen. Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt. Tibi hat uns einen tollen Einblick in verschiedenste Ecken Budapests gegeben und noch einige Essenempfehlungen ausgesprochen. We really enjoyed our tour with Tiberiu. Tiberiu was extremely responsive before our trip - and went above and beyond helping us secure a few local dinner reservations! Tibi was prompt, very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. We toured and traveled by all the modes of public transportation which always makes the introduction to the city more interesting. We ended our rainy, cold tour having goulash soup at one of Tiberiu’s favorite spots. I’d recommend him to anyone!Great day exploring - even in the rain
