Meeting with Tomislav was like meeting with a local friend. We were a family of 5 inlcuding 2 kids and a grandma with different interests, but he accomodated us all. It didn't feel like a tour, but more like an easy and laid back walk around the city. He also gave us tips for local restaurants and things to do afterwards.Getting to know Zagreb with a local friend

This was by far one of the best food tours I have ever taken. Tomislav gave us a complete experience, from drinks to snacks to food. And along the way, he described Croatian traditions, culture, language, and more. We had such an amazing afternoon. Tomislav really went above and beyond to give us an incredible experience. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our tour. We highly recommend Tomislav and will definitely be back for another tour. Absolutely fantastic

Tom is a wonderful guide; thoughtful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. My kids felt he was a family member and became very attached. We sampled local dishes and got to see and understand some of the history of the beautiful city. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to taste a bit of Zagreb! An incredible local experience in Zagreb

After arriving in Zagreb at 2 pm, we shortly met our guide Tomislav at a location near our hotel. He gave us a little history of Zagreb and Croatia and then immersed us in the local food scene. Some wine, cheese, salumi, and shots at a tiny boutique style wine shop. We next walked around town and explored some of the sites and poked our heads into a local chocolate shop. Of course we had samples. Onward to more neighborhoods and a sit down restaurant with a great charcuterie board and a dish of the famous ‘black risotto’ ….more wine of course. We never felt rushed. And our conversations were always easy. But more to come. Continued exploring more walking streets and a final stop at a local delicacy of ‘strackli’ a baked cheese and pasta dish, served sweet or savory. We had both! And so delicious 😋. Some more walking and talking, and before you knew it, we spent 4 (only supposed to be 3) hours together getting to know a local perspective of Zagreb. Highly recommend Tomislav and his food and city tour. A great introduction to Zagreb

Tomislav went above and beyond on our tour. At booking, I had the opportunity to tell a little about our group and goals. He exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful experience of local foods, wines and with so much information about Zagreb. Most importantly, he followed up days before our arrival and provided restaurant recommendations and information sheets including how to say and pronounce common words. Thomas love was very generous with his time and knowledge about sarah and the region. He shared ideas for dinner and ideas for us to do when we went on to Splitt. Tom is personable, a great resource, lots of fun and extremely responsive. Touring with Tom was like hanging out with a friend. We took our time, pausing to sample local foods and drink along the way. We appreciated the info pack Tom gave us with a map, how to pronounce words in Croatian and excellent dining recommendations. We tried several of his recommendations during our stay and especially loved Vinodol! The next day, we had an amazing wine tasting experience with Dominik at Jagunic thanks to Tom.
