We asked Ugur for a general tour of Sultanahmet to understand the history and culture of Istanbul and the Turkish people. Ugur was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He was open and responsive to our requests and personalised the tour to meet our interests. He gave us some great restaurant and shopping recommendations. Ugur gave us a very informative and wonderful tour of the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Ugur was full of knowledge of the historical sites, the Turkish history and provided us detailed information. Ugur was passionate about Turkey and shared his love of his country with us, including Turkish basketball. We had a great time with him! Thank you.My Family from Utah Loved Ugur!

We had a truly outstanding experience with our guide, Ugur, in Istanbul. From the moment we met, it was clear this would be a very personalized and enriching tour. Ugur tailored the experience to our interests and brought the city’s rich history to life with incredible depth and insight. We learned so much, not only about the architectural features across the European side of Istanbul, but also about the centuries of political tensions that have shaped the region, including its modern dynamics. One of the highlights was simply sitting down for a great coffee with him, where the conversation flowed as easily as if we were old friends. He also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner—authentic, tucked away, and absolutely delicious. We booked two tours with Ugur for our one free day in Istanbul. We combined the two tours over the six hours we spent together. We tasted amazing foods throughout the day while we visited the back streets of Istanbul away from all the tourists. We spent time in both the Europe side as well as the Asia side. We really felt that we got to see and know the real Istanbul throughout the day. This day spent with Ugur was the highlight of our 17 day trip. I highly recommend using Ugur as your guide. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Food Tour mit Ugur! Er hat uns durch die kulinarische Welt Istanbuls geführt. Obwohl wir die Stadt schon gut kennen, hat er uns an rund 10 Stationen viele neue Gerichte und Geschmäcker nähergebracht. Die Tour war abwechslungsreich, lecker und von einem Bewohner Istanbuls – genau das, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Vielen Dank, Ugur!Absolute Empfehlung!

We really enjoyed our time with Ugur. He is friendly, welcoming and personable. He took us through the Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia. He was full of knowledge and stories that made it a complete experience. Afterwards, he walked us to his favorite local restaurants. Ugur is helpful and kind. Ugur gave us a great tour of Hagia Sophia, the Cisterns, Turkish-made fine arts, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Bazaar. He was interesting and informative and made sure we saw as much as we wanted during our tour with him. We learned a lot of interesting information about the history and religious practice of Islam.
