I'm Vania. I was born in Rome and I live in Rome. I have enjoyed travelling since I was a child. It's my big passion. I use to travel in all Europe, (included Great Britain, such as England and Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia) also Canary islands and Africa, Turkey and Usa. It was a very formative experience traveling for my knowledge. I lived also a period of my life in New York city. I often travel in Italy trying to know the hidden places of the cities and the best local food. The same goes for Rome. Rome is not just Colosseum or Trevi fountain or Spanish steps. There are many secret monuments and places to discover. Many hidden gems that I know very well . We could say that Rome is a giant monument itself! Especially the amazing churches! They are full of art inside! I'd love to help you to discover the hidden places of Rome, the highlights and the best local food and locals drinks and also the best panoramic terraces to enjoy the amazing view of Rome only locals know or the best rooftops to grab a drink!

Vania was a great guide and took the time to 'show what you know' of her city, Roma. It would be difficult to squeeze in such an entire large city in the time allotted so it was an overview to experience more on your own itinerary/timetable. Vania was very detailed with sharing her knowledge of Roma and did exceptionally well at each site visited. We would recommend her to others to enhance their visit.Very enjoyable tour experience

Myself, my wife and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed our time with Vania who is a real Roman. We did the tour in the early evening and the amount of food that we tasted was more than enough for our usual evening meal. Vania steered us to foods and flavors that are uniquely Roman. The small establishments that she chose for us were a testament to the artisanal nature of their craft and also ones that she frequents with her family and friends. Vania finished our tour atop Janiculum Hill with a wonderful evening view of Rome - a fitting end to our first day in Rome.Real Food Tour With A Real Roman

We hadden een top middag met Vania. Na een heerlijke cappuccino in een historisch tentje nam ze ons mee naar verschillende kerken. Het waren verrassend mooie kerken die niet te druk bezocht werden. Tussen de bezoekjes door wist Vania allerlei weetjes. Heerlijk ijsje gegeten en geëindigd bij wijn bar met borrelplank met Italiaanse vleeswaren. Privé door 't oude Rome

My wife and I have just had a superb afternoon with Vania. We had such great food, she is amazing company and we had as much great culture as we did fantastic food. If you have a choice for a food tour in Rome, Vania is exceptional. Amazing tour, fantastic host.

We had an amazing time with Vania - we sometimes even felt like locals. We learned a lot about Roman food and got a lot of recommendations. Unfortunately, the Porchetta was sold out but we got fantastic ham and a bottle of wine instead.Roman food and drinks at its best
