Greetings my dear visitor!

Ever since I can remember I love storytelling and foreign languages so it was obvious from early beginnings what I will do in my life. I am born and raised in Dubrovnik, spent my childhood playing football or hide and seek game in the streets of the Old Town, grew up with the city and there was no better place to set as my ''office'' than the Old Town itself.

I started guiding in 2001 when I worked as a tour escort for the overland tours throughout former Yugoslav republics. Graduated at the Faculty of foreign trade and tourism and in 2007 I became licensed local guide for Dubrovnik and Neretva county.

If you are looking for the guide who will know by heart every single date or year I am not a kind of guide you are looking for. . . but if you would like to hear all about the plague, the feminism, the customs, if you would like to know why we take coffee so serious and how do we wear the high heels in a city with over 5000 steps you are in a right place!

Vesna was a great guide. She takes you through old town while explaining the history from a locals perspective. Her knowledge is impressive. She showed me areas off the normal routes. I walked down many paths with her while she explained aspects of the area that I never would have known on my own. I would highly recommend her as your guide.A walk thru history

We enjoyed our tour of Dubrovnik while learning about the influence of Yugoslavia in Dubrovnik’s history. Vesna was so interesting to listen to, and as we walked along the streets of Old Town, she pointed out important landmarks and sights we would have missed on our own. She connected Dubrovnik’s past with life today, which is helpful in understanding what makes Dubrovnik unique. The tour was great!!Dubrovnik Walk

Loved doing a private tour with Vesna on our first day in Dubrovnik. Learned a lot of fun and interesting bits of history. She was also extremely easy going and lovely to talk to. My wife and I are history nerds, so we certainly picked the right guide. Vesna gave us a background on Croatia, Dubrovnik and also the war in the early '90s. A war survivor herself, her firsthand experience really added a dimension. I'm a GOT fan, so she included a bunch of that as well. Really got to see Old Town like a local. She even pointed out her childhood home. We'd highly recommend Vesna for a future tour.Very knowledgeable! We had a great tour

Vesna was an absolute pleasure. She communicated well to coordinate our meetup spot and also accommodated adjusting to our schedule. Vesna loves Dubrovnik and it really shined as she walked through the history of Dubrovnik starting with the 6th century all the way through the war in the 90s until current events. She also suggested some excellent restaurants which we really appreciated. We do a walking tour in every city we visit in Europe and she is one of the best we have ever had.
