Hi everyone, I am Vines and would be very happy to meet you !

I grew up in a small island village close to Zadar and my curriosity took me all over the world. I consider myself to be a people person who loves to chat and share experiences with others. I am a genuine bookworm and a huge wine lover. These two hobbies of mine made me an expert for wine and storytelling tours in the area. I love exploring the rich history of Zadar, with the special interest in local legends. I studied Culture and Tourism and have been working as a local tourist guide in Zadar since 2017.

Zadar and I have been tightly connected and this bond goes stronger trought the dacedes. My first childhood memories, cakes in my favorite pastry shop with my parents, visits to the public library, highschools sweethearts, nights out with the girlfriends, meeting the love of my life, university degree, first job opportunities, everything happened here, on the streets of Zadar.

This city is not only about sights and attractions, a beautiful promenade and old palaces, there is something more that defines it, which I would describe as an insatiable desire to live imbued with the spirit of Mediterranean charm and lifestyle.

Vines was to busy talking at us about the history. She seems to forget we were on a food tour. Getting ice cream before seafood was just wrong. Do not expect drinks! It’s only one small cherry liquor and nothing if you do not drink. We cut it short as we were over the forced history lesson. Vines was not a foodie. Not a food tour but a history lesson

Vines was a wonderful host and guide. She had to be creative because many spots were closed on Sunday, but we enjoyed every stop. (We are still talking about that tomato in the market, and the black risotto was delicious) Along the way she taught us a lot about Croatia and Zadar in particular. Her special figs were a treat and all the gifts we brought back have been quite a hit. Would recommend very highly Wonderful day!
