Vito took us through the maze of streets and alleys in the historic center and helped us see how life unfolded in these neighborhoods (and is unfolding) through the centuries. He offered great historic context and anecdotes, and patiently answered our questions with thoughtful and detailed information. Vito was a great guide for a tour we could never have accomplished on our own and learned as much. What an informative walk!

Vito met us by the Castle and proceeded to give us interesting history about the beautiful and multicultural city of Bari. I took this tour with my three children between ages 20 and 30. The food was incredible, and everywhere we went it was clear that Vito is liked. He is so knowledgeable and friendly and gives from his heart. Entering the beautiful churches was interesting as well, and a wonderful break from the generous portions of food and the hot sun. We can’t decide what was our favorite food! But it is a tie between the Polpizza and Assasina! Thank you so much Vito for a perfect first day in Bari, we loved our time with you and your recommendations.

Vito was an incredible tour guide and exceeded our expectations. We signed up for a food tour in Bari, Italy and he delivered on that and so much more. Vito taught us about the culture, history and traditions of Bari, all while we indulged on tasty treats along the way. We visited Basilica San Nicola and a few other sites, including the famous Bari pasta ladies. The pace was perfect, and the food was delicious and thoughtful. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to taste and learn about Bari in just a few hours. Vito offered more than a Bari Food Tour!
