Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Social Innovations and Communication at the University of Cagliari, having previously earned my degree in Political Science and International Relations.

My professional endeavors extend to being a speaker for the University Radio Station of Cagliari, as well as holding membership in the International Red Cross.

Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I have a passion for exploring new places, indulging in diverse cuisines (and yes, I'm quite the adept cook), savoring fine wines, and reveling in lively parties and aperitifs.

During our time together, I'll guide you through the enchanting streets of the old town, perhaps over a glass of exquisite Sardinian wine. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can venture to one of the seven hills of my city to observe flamingos, especially captivating during the sunset when the colors are most enchanting.

And of course, no visit would be complete without a stroll along the stunning beach of Poetto!

My wife and I were on a cruise with a one-day stop in Cagliari. We weren't sure how to take in all of the rich history and culinary traditions of Sardinia in such a short time. Then, we discovered Walter. He met us outside the cruise terminal gate, and and drove us to the highest of the seven hills surrounding Cagliari, where there was a walled-in city that dated back to the Roman era. We then proceeded to walk downhill along cobblestone streets and charming alleys enjoying the local fare, and even strolled through an open air market where we sampled many of the local foods. The price we paid meant that Walter paid for the food and even the wine that we sampled. We covered about seven miles of walking, eating our way down the hill. Of course, we were fine with the walking, and Walter had tailored this trip to our tastes. For those that want to walk less, he would assuredly tailor the day to your whims. I booked a private tour with Walter for a small group sailing together on a cruise. We met at a location convenient to walk to from the ship and got started right on time. Walter explained that our route would take us through all of the major neighborhoods in Cagliari, and explained a bit about the history and culture of each area. The focus of our tour was underground Calgiari, so we spent a good amount of time beneath churches and historical sites where ancient ruins had been found, and in some cases restored. It was fascinating, and we felt that we got a great value for what we paid vs a tour from the ship. I'm sure we covered more in 2.5 hours than the much more expensive 4 hour ship tour. Note: there is a lot of walking on hilly streets, so be aware. We did have one member of our group who skipped the last part because of knee problems, but if you can manage the walking, the views are well worth it! Walter was personable and fun, and interacted with the group in a very nice way, being sure to include everyone. We would 10/10 do it again, and if we return to Cagliari we will book another tour with Walter.More than we had hoped for!

Our group of four only had one day to visit Cagliari. Walter’s tour was the perfect overview of the town. While our tour was nominally a tour of the “underground,” he gave us lots of history and insight into what was above ground too. I don’t know that we’d have discovered the sites he shared with us without his guidance. Loved having an intimate group because we could ask questions relevant to our interests and previous knowledge so easily. His tour was really a fantastic finish to our visit to beautiful Sardinia.More than just underground - great tour!

Walter was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We got a very detailed lay of the land and enjoyed his plethora of knowledge. This being my 6th food tour across the world, I wouldn’t call this a food tour but definitely helped us figure out where to return and eat after the tour, since he suggested good places along the way. We had a great morning exploring the medieval districts of Cagliari with Walter. Walter was a great guide, giving an insightful tour and history of his city. Walter took us to some great locations that we would never have found on our own, with the guidebooks and local information on Cagliari not really highlighting many of the places that we saw with Walter. We loved how Walter was very kind and helpful. He also gave us a fab lunch recommendation. Thanks Walter for an ace morning of exploring. Off the beaten track in Cagliari
