Hi there, I'm Yana your tour guide and an archeologist. After I graduated from the State University of my hometown in international relations, I moved to China where I spent 5 years studying chinese, working hard and facing the cruel "try-to-find-good-italian-coffee" reality. I moved to Italy after, where I got my degree in history and archeology. Besides, my passion to art, history and languages brought me to Naples, that got my heart. So after I got an official tour guide license and started showing people the beauties of this amazing place. I couldn't help but wonder, how all these italians can stay that positive all the time? It took me several years here to understand and start following the rhythm of the most chaotic and the most charismatic city of Italy - Naples. So my shrink Mount Vesuvius says "you never know what's gonna happen tomorrow so be happy right now" and you know, I think he is right, what you think?

My husband, daughter, our friend and I spent a wonderful afternoon in Pompeii. Yana is an exceptional person, full of knowledge, speaks several world languages ​​and obviously has experience with guiding around Pompeii. We had a private Pompeii tour with Yana for 8 adults from the USA. Yana was fabulous and all had an amazing 2 hour experience at Pompeii due to her understanding and knowledge of Pompeii and beyond. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Tour mit Yana. Sie hat uns die Geschichte von Pompeij sehr informativ und persönlich erzählt. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern 17 und 13 mit ihr unterwegs und sie hat für unsere deutschen Kinder eine sehr klares, einfaches Englisch gesprochen. Wir mussten auf Grund von einem Gewitter unsere geplante Amalfi Boat Tour um einen Tag verschieben. Yana hat innerhalb von Minuten geantwortet und unsere Tour in Pompeij auf den gleichen Tag vorgezogen. Vielen Dank Yana für diese Flexibilität und die tolle Tour in Pompeij.
