My wife and I recently did the Singapore food tour with Marcus. He was great and knowledgeable. We met him in an Arab market, and later in the day two or through Little India and Chinatown. The food was all good. The choices in food were barely basic dishes but all very tasty. Marcus gave us really great history of all of the areas that we tour through. And also took us on the subway system and taught us how to get from place to place in Singapore. He also want the extra mile, because when I booked the tour I sent him a message that I wanted to try durian and would love to go to places that serve beer. When we met Marcus he handed me a bag with four beers and a sealed package of durian in it. When we went to Little India and Chinatown he got us glasses of ice to poor our beers into. If you book this tour I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip because the knowledge you will learn will help you make decisions of where to go on the remaining days of your trip. City tour wirh food mixed in.

Marcus took us on a fantastic tour around Singapore, tasting food from many different cultures, traveling by foot and by subway so covered a large area of the city. The food was amazing. He knows his city inside out and we learnt so much about how the city works, its history and where its future lies. Highly recommended.Knowledgable and very friendly

Marcus introduced himself at our meeting spot on Arab street and immediately dove into the history and culture of the area explaining how the city was founded. Our first taste was in a middle eastern restaurant, Nur Fayhidya, the first of many delicious stops. Marcus was quite attentive to our needs as one of our daughters had a little gastric distress from our previous travels. From there he took us into the subway and showed us how to easily navigate the expansive system. We explored Little India and then China town. In each of these areas he took us to food halls we would never had ventured into if it weren’t for our guide. He showed us the food stall quality rating system and how to choose vendors. We highly recommend Marcus! History, culture, food tour!

Marcus went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing food tour on Christmas Day. He provided us with bottled water and when my purse wasn’t big enough he bought me a bag to carry them in with his own money. He answered questions we had about the history of Singapore before we could even ask them. The food was all delicious and nothing we would have tried on our own. Marcus also brought wipes to clean the tables and out hands as well as napkins. He provided us with subway cards and made sure to show us on the map what stop to take back to our hotel. We’ve taken food tours in India and Vietnam and this was one of best we have taken. I would highly recommend taking the tour with Marcus. Perfect Day

The tour with Marcus is recommended. We had three different food experiences while visiting different parts of the city. This was insightful as it presented different neighbourhoods and cuisines. In addition Marcus coloured in the tour with the history of Singapore and the neighbourhoods. The food portions were generous, so it is recommended to come hungry if you are planning the tour with Marcus. Great variety of food and experiences

My family went on the “10 tastings of Singapore” tour with Marcus and he was an amazing tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable. The food on the tour was absolutely delicious, and we were able to try a number of dishes that we’ve never tried before. I highly recommend this tour if you’d like to tour a number of neighborhoods and try the great multicultural food Singapore has to offer!Highly recommend

Our tour with Marcus was fantastic! We visited three different neighborhoods and sampled Muslim, Indian, and Chinese cuisine. In addition to the food tasting, we got a bit of a history tour about each neighborhood and an intro to how to use the subway. My husband and I went on this tour with our young adult daughters and they loved it as well. I highly recommend!History and food tour combined!
