I was born in Athens and my passion when i was a teen led me to the arts. I love dancing and acting. Guiding for me its like a relaxed improvised theatrical play. We tell stories while we learn about the city and each other. Taking influence from architecture we will talk about the culture, the people, the history, the present and the possible future of this city.

His English was clear and easy to understand, making the entire experience enjoyable. Yorgos was such a pleasant person, and we are so happy he was our guide. In addition to a lot of great commentary on the history of the city, area, and food, he had very good knowledge of restaurants to customize based on what we wanted. Outside of his exceptional knowledge, he also was very easy to speak to, had a great sense of humor, and told great stories. 10/10 for Yorgos!Extremely personable, knowledgeable guide

As promised, Yorgos was full of interesting bits of information. He adapted the tour to suit my needs as an older solo traveler. We covered a lot in the 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend Yorgos! Fantastic guide

Yorga was quite enjoyable during our food tour. He really did a wonderful job of finding unique Greek dishes for us to try since we were accustomed to the usual dishes. We were all quite pleased. My recommendations to improve the experience is to 1) assess the walking ability of the whole group as our walk to last restaurant was very long for the over 65 folks, and 2) don’t wait too long for one item. The dessert was a long wait which made the walk to final restaurant feel even longer. Would definitely recommend Jorga though. Delightful ! Fun experience

Had a good time with an experienced, relaxed and patient guide in Athens. He recommended unique Greek tastings that we would not have found on our own, while explaining bits and parts of the city on the walk between tasting locations. Yorgos speaks a good English and proved to be a good and knowledgeable guide. My wife and I recommend him without any reservation.Nice and interesting tasting trip

Our family had a lovely time walking around the streets of Athens with Yorgos. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing some of his favorite spots to enjoy local cuisine. After having spent the morning in the crowded Acropolis area, it was a pleasure to take a more leisurely walk around the city. We had a couple of picky eaters with us, but there was something for everyone to enjoy on this tour. Highly recommend!Enjoyed our Athens visit

Yorgos is very cheerful. Right off the start he had us laughing as we walked to our first destination. He told us fun stories about Athens, but also took the time to answer our questions. Yorgos also did something we have never experienced on other food tours. He asked us what we have already eaten so that he could take us to eat food we had not tried before. The length of the tour was perfect, as well as the timing between stops. The food that we tried was new to us, as well as delicious. We truly enjoyed our time with Yorgos, and are indebted to him for being a memorable part of our visit to Athens. Delicious delights in Athens
