Really good experience as a first time visitor in Budapest. Booked the 5 hour tour and it was a nice experience.
Zsofia took the time to show me round the city with quite a few delightful detours. Cabbage strudel in one of the markets, the beautiful library, the Paris passage and the ruin bar in the Jewish district. And she was so kind, waiting with me for a while to get a taxi. Zsofia has a very chill calm energy which worked very well.
The hours went by so quickly and very enjoyable. Would recommend spending the day with Zsofia to show you round.
Great tour with Zsofia
Zsofia calmly introduced us to the heart of the Pest side of the city whilst providing some key history to put things into context.....we even found some local food sampling which we wouldn't have on our own!!
Highly recommend Relaxed intro to Budapest
We had a really good city walk with Zsofia, who knows both the history and the present.
Before the tour we also got a few recommendations for restaurants, which helped make our trip even better.
Zsofia gets our best recommendation. Zsofia gets our best recommendations
I booked a tour with my boyfriend who is a craft beer enthousiast! Zsofia presented to us a cool and quaint selection of craft beer bars and shops, that we definitely would not find on our own. We also learnt about some Hungarian traditions, Zsofia also suggested some other cool places around Budapest and was very helpful with the various questions that we had. Very cool experience and Zsofia was lovely, highly recomend! Great experience
My mother and I booked a tour with Zsofia our first afternoon in Budapest. We loved all of our stops and the wonderful overview of the city. Zsofia gave us fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay and we went back to central market the next day to have a little more sausage and cabbage strudel :) Cannot recommend enough.Excellent Intro to Budapest
Together with Szofia we went onto an exciting walk around Budapest.
The tour was very well organized and perfectly tailored to my taste, despite the fact that multiple places were still closed due to the holiday season.
Szofia is a true local, not only well versed in the history of Budapest and Hungary but also very much involved into the modern life of a city and genuinely passionate in describing it.
We went together through more than a thousand years history of Budapest, starting from Hunns, crossing the Medieval, Imperial, and Soviet epochs, and coming up to the ruin pubs and the modern gentrification trends of today.
Not to forget the beauty of Danube and the little hidden gems such as a local street food or a sudden deja-vu feeling triggered by suddenly stumbling at a place I've seen in a spy movie, apparently shot in Budapest.
Thank you Szofia!An awesome walk-and-talk
My husband and I both really enjoyed this experience. And my husband does not usually like tours or anything to do with tourist things as we come from a very touristy town ourselves. Zsofia showed us some really cool spots, told us some cool stuff, let my daughter paint her nails, helped us drag our daughter and her stroller on a pub crawl. Which isn’t for everyone but she didn’t seem to blink an eye. Was very appreciated as traveling with a young one is difficult sometimes but we still want to get in some fun for mom & dad. Highly recommend for beer lovers or even someone that wants to be shown a very cool night out in Budapest! Thanks Zsofia. in boca lupo!! Un bacio My mind got brewed 🍺
My friend and I booked this 3-hour private walking tour from Melbourne for our last full day in Budapest after finishing a river cruise, and we were not disappointed. The meeting location was easy to find. Zsofia was a fantastic guide and a wealth of information; and we got to see a lot of the sites and learn the history, on the Buda side of Budapest. She also took us to one of the oldest patisseries called Ruszwurm, for cake and coffee and managed to get an outdoor table before a queue appeared (very popular and worth the visit). One place we visited, the tower of a church ruin, enabled us to see a spectacular view across Buda. We walked up 273 steps on the spiral staircase to the top. It was worth it. Straight after the tour we were going to the Széchenyi thermal baths and because the EU heads were in town a lot of the roads were blocked, so a taxi was hard to get. Zsofia went out of her way to take us to a metro train station on the Pest side, bought us train tickets and got on the train to ensure we got there safely. She also recommended a fabulous restaurant near the baths called Gundel. It was spectacular. We highly recommend Zsofia for any tour in Budapest. You will love it Sisi History tour
This was my first experience with withlocals but what a great way to start my vacation in Budapest. Zsofia was a great food guide and introduced me to different sweet and savoury foods while walking around Budapest. She introduced me to the traditional foods and the background behind them. Zsofia put me at ease from the beginning and was a delightful and relaxed companion. Food delights in Budapest
We booked a tour with three friends, and had a great experience!
Zsofia had a selection of craft beer bars and shops planned for us, which we would’ve not found otherwise.
You learn a lot about Hungary, the history and development of the city, and of course, craft beer.
Highly recommend!Great experience with unique spots
