Mohamed did a tremendous job of taking us to traditional, local establishments that prepared traditional Egyptian dishes as the locals would eat them. He was very kind and did a lot to explain the food and culture behind the dishes we were tasting. Highly recommend you give him a try!
Ramses was charming company. Very knowledgeable about Islamic history but judged well how much information we could digest. He showed us some key historical highlights but balanced this with a walking tour of the markets and a stop for tea in a local cafe. He made sure we got back to our hotel safely.
