With our guide Ahmed and his driver Waleed our visit to Cairo was like being entertained by friends. We were even taken out for lunch . We experienced the real Cairo, the real Egypt. Ahmed’s knowledge of Egyptian history was enlightening. For anyone who wants to feel like an Egyptian for a day I recommend Ahmed.

Sensational, believe the Hype
Ramses was simply fantastic. We absolutely loved his company, his sense of humour and conversation... And then there is his encyclopaedic knowledge of Egyptian history. Our time in Cairo was limited, but we crammed a huge amount of the tourist Must llsees.

Excellent afternoon in the old town
Ramses was charming company. Very knowledgeable about Islamic history but judged well how much information we could digest. He showed us some key historical highlights but balanced this with a walking tour of the markets and a stop for tea in a local cafe. He made sure we got back to our hotel safely. We really enjoyed the afternoon.
