Zsofia had a selection of craft beer bars and shops planned for us, which we would’ve not found otherwise.
You learn a lot about Hungary, the history and development of the city, and of course, craft beer.

Outstanding experience in Budapest
This tour with Ivan far exceeded our expectations for learning about the untold cold war history of Budapest. We came away with a far deeper understanding of not only the uprising but the previously unknown American involvement in it. Fascinating Cold War stories
We had a really interesting trip with Ivan. He is very knowledgeable and has conducted extensive research into the history of Cold War espionage in Budapest. Our tour took in a number of easily overlooked but pivotal sites during the period from the end of WWII to the fall of communism in Europe. Our afternoon really couldn’t have been better.
