Learn about their personal stories, and find out how you can explore Yogyakarta together
We had a great afternoon with Yula wandering around Yogyakarta and tasting a great variety of foods. She was very friendly and easy to chat with. Highly recommended!
Yula is an amazing local guide! We learned so much about Yogyakarta's culture, history, and daily life during our time with her. We had lots of discussions and asked many questions, and she was always happy to share her knowledge and insights. We truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend joining one of her tours — you won’t regret it!
Yula is a lovely tour guide. We enjoyed her company for 6 hours for back to back culture and food tours. She patiently answered all our questions about Java, most of which had nothing to do with food. We visited local sites, rode a tuktuk, stuffed our selves with Indonesian food and had a lively walk down the main street. We recommend!
Very knowledgeable guide who was accommodating in every way
Yula was an amazing guide. Thoughtful, practical, excellent English. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her tour. She was also very pleasant to spend time with. Like having a friend give you a tour of their hometown.
Tini was very professional. Here knowledge on the history of the surrounding area and Indonesia as a whole was very in-depth. I can't remember her not knowing the answer to any question I asked. She was excellent.......
Our food tour with Yula was amazing. Yula is the best guide and so sweet. She gave us information about the city and guided us through all the different taste expierences. All the food was great, it was so much we couldn’t even finish it all. We really recommend booking this tour with Yula, you won’t regret it!
Yula was amazing, she told us so much about the history and the food. She knew what she was doing. We had great food and could always give our preferences!
We took a one-day tour to Borobudur and Prambanan temples with Tini. She was friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up at Yogyakarta airport and dropped us off at our hotel afterward. Adjusting the pickup time was simple. Tini shared a lot of interesting facts about the temples and Indonesia. We had a nice lunch at a local restaurant. The temples were simply incredible. Highly recommend!
If you really want to taste local -Yogya street food, go with Yulaikha. Great street chicken sate, nasi gudeg (stewed jack fruit) and local sweets and puddings. Yulaikha knows the places and tells you about local history too.
